Monster

edit

There is some dispute over where this song has charted. It charted at #4 on Active Rock as shown by this link ( http://www.americasmusiccharts.com/index.cgi?fmt=R2), however it has also charted at #5 on mainstream rock charts as per this link ( http://www.newstimes.com/default/article/Best-Sellers-Audio-298568.php ) both are correct as they are two seperate charts however as the chart on this page are for mainstream rock not active rock then the peak of #5 should be shown. ChristianRock.net

edit

This is not an actual chart. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.240.22.33 (talk) 21:03, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

What is it? A fan poll? Radio spins? --Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:11, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

It never actually says. It's an article they publish every year. It's not a chart based off sales. I think it's based off requests on their website, possibly an opinion poll. ChristianRock.net is a fairly low traffic user supported internet radio station. It is NOT a chart or anything in an official capacity. References to it should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.240.22.33 (talk) 01:58, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

But RadioU also does similar charts and they base their numbers on a mix of requests and how the songs are charting nationally. When I was in radio, we based our rock charts on what was happening nationally, at our sister station, and our request numbers. Are you sure that ChristianRock.net doesn't do something similar? --Walter Görlitz (talk) 02:09, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Units sold of Awake

edit

Skillet awake cd....why is it now only 503,000 sold, when before it had 700,000 sold...will someone do something and get an accurate number —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.83.123.108 (talk) 18:22, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

The number is referenced. The recent edit shows US sales only, while I suspect that the previous number included worldwide sales. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:26, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Also realized that the reference was a forum, which is not WP:RS --Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:21, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've noticed that the published list of albums sales most of which are usually initially sourced from the "Hits" website are unusually low for several albums. Awake went US: Gold (500 000 units) in July and was certified in August. As it's currently selling three to four thousand units a week (the rough average for it's charting positions on the billboard top 200) it's probably fair to say that the source I have provided that says 700K sold is a US figure and is accurate. I've no clue as to it's total worldwide sales though. (116Rebel (talk) 01:10, 12 March 2011 (UTC)).Reply

Skillet's debut on Australian charts

Could someone put in Skillet's debut on the Australian charts with "Rise" at No. 84, I would do it but I don't know how. The source is - http://www.noise11.com/news/aria-album-report-harrison-craig-debuts-at-no-1-20130629

Old Christian Rock chart peaks

edit

Does anyone know where the chart info for Christian Rock pre-2009 comes from? Because Billboard.biz doesn't have Christian Rock pre-2009 and the chart info certainly doesn't match ChristianRock.Net either. Jacob102699 (talk) 17:56, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I believe it's the Rock and Radio report. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Christian music/Sources. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:06, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ok thanks for the link. I assumed it was probably Radio & Records (I think that's what you mean), but I didn't know if there was a certain way to access it. I'll try using Wayback Machine. Jacob102699 (talk) 15:52, 28 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Video albums

edit

There are 2 sections for Video albums, one of them includes Awake and Live, the other doesn't. Does it technically count as a video album if it was included in the Rise deluxe CD? Yatogamii (talk) 01:44, 13 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

https://www.allmusic.com/album/rise-mw0002541599/releases lists it as a DVD, so it seems to be a video album. And the two sections could be merged. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:08, 13 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
