Plot Descriptions
editThe plot descriptions for this series are awful. They are written in a style more suited to an advert than an encyclopedia.
Distribution Area
editThis page should mention the distribution area of these books somewhere. The first three books were released in the United States, but the later books have not been released there, and this should be indicated in the article somehow. Alphius (talk) 03:45, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
Sixth Book
editA section for Death Bringer needs to be added. Alphius (talk) 03:14, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Novels Section
editThis section lists only 7 novels, and later in the article - in the 'Novellas' section for some reason - it says about the 9th novel being due in 2014. I have moved this to the novels section but can someone who has read #8 Last Stand of Dead Men please put a small synopsis into the novels section (I haven't read it yet) as mentioning 1-7 then 9 was always very odd.
Also, the hyperlink on the top right for Last Stand of Dead Men just leads back to here - if you've read it, make the page for it! :) Freaky dragonlady (talk) 01:14, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
Article Title
editShould the title of this article just be "Skulduggery Pleasant"? It might make more sense to disambiguate the first book as "Skulduggery Pleasant (novel)" than to have the titles the way they are currently. Alphius (talk) 08:27, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Alphius: After cleaning up the article, and thinking the same thing, I decided to be bold, and moves the articles as necessary. You have an excellent point. Alex|The|Whovian? 09:18, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
Dark & Mature Themes
editThe series has taken a very dark turn and this should be reflected somewhere, along with the fact that with Valkerie now 25 years old (and those dark themes) it may not really be 'Young Adult' fiction anymore. I am sure there must be reviews that could be quoted mentioning this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.202.33.17 (talk) 03:54, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
Counts Section
editThe page counts statistics seem kind of unnecessary since the number of pages in a book varies with each publication. Can I remove them entirely? ThePencilGuru (talk) 13:55, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
