Some unsourced claims
edit- Plain bearings. Really? Needs expansion and sourcing. It's certainly not the case that (like much smaller bearings) it is a simple designer's choice as to which.
- The Falkirk Wheel has a horizontal axis. So how does it "slew"? Are these large bearings still "slewing bearings"? Their load is quite different.
There's an awful lot here that needs sourcing, rewriting or even just deleting. Andy Dingley (talk) 10:39, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
