Stanford 12-months vs. 10-months

edit

Just look at Stanford's website, it's 12-months now, which is identical to both LBS and MIT. http://www.gsb.stanford.edu/sloan/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moviestar3 (talkcontribs) 21:56, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

The expensive degree that doesn't work

edit

I don't know about Stanford and LBS, but MIT Sloan Fellows program is a terrible choice for a self sponsored student. Here's my personal experience: I graduated from MIT Sloan Fellows program back in 2008 (at the age of 34), and still don't have a job 4 years later, and in I'm in 6 figure debt! I sent thousands of resumes, had a few interviews, but still nothing. My advice to self sponsored people stay away from MIT Sloan Fellows program. While they claim that program is useful for entrepreneurs in reality it will only put you in debt and postpone, or even destroy all together your startup plans, or an existing small business. There are no career services, and when I tried to get a meeting with the dean of the Sloan School I was told that they notified the campus police! The reason, that I was given by the assistant dean for exec education, for such attitude: "because you were calling the school and career development office too much, and people feel apprehensive about you...". Please let me know if you need more detail, and I'll be happy to share more thoughts about this program.... 96.233.90.154 (talk) 19:59, 14 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
