Could we maybe have a synopsis of the synopsis? 2601:1C2:5000:1472:4092:3BEA:6464:84B (talk) 00:03, 5 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Didion collection?

edit

The intro currently states that the episode derives its name from the Joan Didion essay collection and the Yeats poem. I'm not familiar with the Didion book, but surely the Yeats poem is the primary reference here? The final couplet of the poem is "And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, / Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?" With regard to this season's story arc, the reference is pretty clear (both the Beast and Jasmine, being born from Cordelia's womb). What's the relevance of Didion? Was there a reference to her work in the episode, or in a commentary or something? If not, I'm inclined to simply remove the Didion bit altogether. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 06:47, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
