editA click on the reference of this entry leads to a China Daily article, http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/bw/2008-10/13/content_7098333.htm which provides a testimonial of SmithStreetSolutions' status as a major player in the Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) industry in China, if you do read it.
China Daily is undoubtedly one of the most authoritative providers of news and views in China. In my humble opinion, that article qualifies SmtihStreet's notability.
- That link is a blog with only passing mention of the company. You're going to have to do better. Also, please stop adding copyrighted material to Wikipedia. 66.57.7.153 (talk) 09:20, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
SmithStreet article
editHi, changes have since been made to the following article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SmithStreetSolutions to amend its 'orphaned' status. Also, reference links have been added to ascertain notability. Would it be possible to have these tags removed? Please let me know any other ways we can improve the article. Thanks 116.228.36.134 (talk) 03:58, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- I merged the old {Notability} tag into the MI tag. I have not taken a view as to whether the new cites establish notability. I would suggest working with the editors who added the tags. The article still has only one incoming link of dubious value (from list of companies in China), so it is still technically an orphan. Rich Farmbrough, 10:00, 19 April 2011 (UTC).
Media Mentions
editI have removed a long list of random media mentions from the "External links" section of the article, and temporarily brought htem here (see below). The external links section should not be a repository of every time an article subject gets mentioned. if these media mentions are useful references for any notable aspect of the company, they should be incorporated into the body of the article as citations. if they do not reference any notable point, there is no need to list them at all.
In case any of these do reference a notable point, the links are:
