Effectiveness
editSnaffles are highly effective when you are riding a horse. They work well on yearlings if you are just getting them used to a bit.
Etymology

Fitting Section Removed
editI took the liberty to remove the Fitting section. It was entirely unsourced (and had been tagged as such for over two years now), and was written as a how-to manual. Remember, Wikipedia is not a manual, guidebook, textbook, or scientific journal. Having information on how they are fit to horses is not a bad thing, but it shouldn't be written as a how-to manual and must be sourced. nf utvol (talk) 22:45, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
