Talk:Snake's Revenge
Untitled
editKojima has also stated that he enjoys Snake's Revenge and thought it was faithful to the "Metal Gear concept" he had initially envisioned.
Any sources for that? --Nick R 21:52, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Read the article; someone added a source (possibly before you posted). --DoubleCross 01:55, Jun 7, 2005 (UTC)
I went on to read both the citations and when he talks about that "crap game", in neither of them was he referring to Snake's Revenge, but rather the famicom remake of the original Metal Gear. I have read and re-read both the citations, and the only part I can find is as follows:
"[11:00] "You might know the original NES Metal Gear, but that's a crap game because I didn't participate in it.""
Therefore, I have deleted this sentence, as their is no evidence for it for this version of the game. --Gwatts88 (talk) 01:34, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
I will eat my metaphorical hat. Found the quote. My apologies, I am obviously blind. --Gwatts88 (talk) 01:37, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Parallel vs. Alternate
editI'm thinking the proper term for the non-canonical extensions of a series are referred to as AUs [alternate universes] and not parallel. If there are no objections within a week (please go to my talk page and let me know), I'm changing it. --Thorns Among Our Leaves 02:33, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Instruction Manual
editI know there was at least one other false instruction manual for the game worth mentioning (in which the villain is former shepherd Colonel Cataffy, I have it, but otherwise would be unable to cite a source. Any thoughts on the subject? 68.75.187.79 05:49, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- That is actually from the first game and is already lited in that article. --67.71.76.195 02:46, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Box Art
editHey um, did anybody know that Snake's design on the box art is once again based on Michael Biehn, only this time, his character Hicks from the Aliens movie? --FlapjackStantz (talk) 15:54, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Canon
editI see the usual idiots are about making a big deal about canon on a wiki about the actual game. What purpose does that serve? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.145.74.187 (talk) 13:43, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
