Question
editIs it true they are making a New York version of Soarin'? I read it in a book --AquaTeen13 (talk) 01:08, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- If you can provide the title of the book, someone else may know about it and can confirm it. It's entirely possible for Disney to want to update the ride-film for Soarin', or to install it in other theme parks, but there has been no reliable information thus far to indicate such a film (or that the subject of a new film, much less a future location, is New York) is in production. --McDoobAU93 02:11, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
Remove italics
editThe italic title and usage is not correct here and should be removed per Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Amusement_Parks#Inconsistent italics. Regards Widefox; talk 12:18, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
CGI
editI was just on the new version of the ride in Disneyland. The visuals appear to be CGI now, but I can't find a source to confirm this. Can anybody help find confirmation? Ace-o-aces2 (talk) 17:21, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
Stunt promotions
editDisney has decided to temporarily restore the original "Soarin' Over California" ride-film to the DCA version of the attraction. While this is notable, and worthy of mention in the article, it's not really worthy of being in the lede of the article, per WP:UNDUE. Nor should it precipitate a change in the infobox, which is intended for more permanent adjustments, such as when SOC was retired and SATW was installed. Since Disney could theoretically do this at each of their locations, getting into this habit now will only cause problems later on. --McDoobAU93 12:59, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
