No Merge

edit

Welcome all Wikipedians!

On Social organisation: This article/topic should not be merged into another. It desrves to stand alone in that the power of the concept would be dilluted and degraded. It should remain a Parent topic in that it serves as a point of reference and study for the advancement of our communities, cultures and society. Merging articles such as this is Piracy!
If your on a merging frenzy, go merge The Simpsons into Cartoon!

It may need some work but the concept is there to enrich our understanding of how our world works, and the roles we can and do play in these processes. --Codestream 09:48, 24 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose merger. While there is some overlap between this article and Institution, they have distinct meanings. Each is a useful term that many other articles refer to. However, both articles need work (see below). Sunray 16:12, 7 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I just noticed that the "merge" tag has been on this article since the end of December. As the only folks who have spoken have been opposed to the merge, I am removing the tag. Sunray 18:47, 7 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Needs serious cleanup

edit

This article needs a ton of work. The edit 2005-10-19 14:53:55 by 213.238.199.86 is very poorly written. The whole article has many spelling and grammar errors, and toward the end of 213.238.199.86's addition, it even includes an unencyclopedic suggestion of what families "should" consist of. I've tagged it for cleanup. J. Straub 18:14, 11 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

wrong title

edit

um, shouldnt the title be social oraniZation? with a z not s? YEah I greatly agree

wrong title retard

edit

"um, shouldnt the title be social oraniZation? with a z not s? YEah I greatly agree" relearn ur spelling retard! its not spelt with a 'Z' dumbass!

^^^Be careful when you say things like "dumbass", because z is often replaced by s in the UK, including the z in organization- the spelling is correct, just not in American English. Wikipedia does not currently make a distinction between English dialects.

Then turn all the Z's in the article to 'S', dumbass. Or make the title match. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.55.61.128 (talk) 18:31, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Microsoft word spell check says it is spelled "organization" with a Z, not an S. The title and the rest of the article are conflicted, it should be one way or the other. Whoever responded so inappropriately is the real "dumbass" here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Masterblake9 (talkcontribs) 19:31, 20 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair to suggest the content of the article was confused and of no use whatsoever. Redirecting to 'Institution'. Those interested in social organisation in the sense of social interaction might be better off looking at indeed social interaction, but also social action, social structure, and so on and so forth. We need to be bold with these vague little sociological terms. --Tomsega (talk) 17:59, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Was any content lost in this process? —Zujine|talk 15:38, 14 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yes. All this was lost. --Yone Fernandes (talk) 09:53, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
