I observed that for some time the link on the i/o page to SIOP was in red, which meant that there was no SIOP entry. I thought it would be helpful to begin this Wikipedia entry. Please join in, and add to the entry.Iss246 (talk) 11:48, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
It would be helpful if an editor would add one or two paragraphs about the history of SIOP.Iss246 (talk) 15:30, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
Since there nobody took me up on it, I began to write a brief history of SIOP. I still hope someone will help with the brief history and generally help to improve this entry.Iss246 (talk) 02:07, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
To do a better job than I can do, someone has to get his or her hands on this source: Benjamin, L.T., Jr. (1997). A history of Division 14 (the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology). In D.A. Dewsbury (Ed.), Unification through division: Histories of the divisions of the American Psychological Association, Volume II. Washington, D.C.: American Psychological Association.
I completed a bare minimum on the history of SIOP. I ask other Wikipedia editors come in and build up the site.Iss246 (talk) 14:57, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
I added a couple of sentences about TIP and the siop website, which is a great resource for students looking for a graduate program. I am new to this, so if this isn't done correctly or doesn't fit, I won't be insulted if you modify/remove it. Psyc12 (talk) 23:08, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
