editAugustales is correct in Classical Latin when written in lowercase. The V is used for uppercase for both V and U; the u may be used for both v and u in lower case. The source cited for Avgvstales (sic) is epigraphical: inscriptions were usually written in all caps: AVGVSTALES. So this is not an alternate spelling. Cynwolfe (talk) 12:44, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
