Education

Racing

I have just updated this section by deleting the reference to Honda powering Jack Brabham's 1966 F1 Driver's and Constructor's Championship chassis. The previous entry stated Honda provided the power in Brabham's F1 car for the 1966 season. This is incorrect - the powerplant for 1966 (and 1967, for Denny Hulme's Driver's Championship) was a 3.0 litre Repco Brabham V8 developed in Australia. 1966 is the only year in the history of F1 that a driver won the Championship in a car of his own construction, a feat not even the legendary Soichiro Honda could match.

I agree, it seems like a propaganda piece. Did this man participate in any wars or anything.. it's all just about his achievements, Like he never made a mistake. Isakill (talk) 19:37, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

If you know of any.. "mistakes" as you say, notable enough to be included to the biography please list them here. As for the article being a propaganda piece, not really, it's just crappy as the IP says above.  Dr. Loosmark  21:51, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

Who posted this mess? "Honda raced Turbocharged Ford on 1st Japan automobile race at Tamagawa Speedway in 1936. But crashed and seriously injured on left eye. His brother also injured. The obvious clue here is the Tokyo IP address responsible for the quoted content, suggesting a non-English first language speaker. The poster above's address is Honda Motors, Torrance, California. I was intending to change the image (for another not available to me at original upload time), but reading the content, Mr Honda's left eye as seen in the close-up does seem damaged, so I put the change on hold just for this reason alone.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 00:57, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

Should the image be mirrored?
