Talk:Solo Cup Company

Latest comment: 10 years ago by Bumblebritches57 in topic Choice of color for cups

Could we add something a little more business-oriented here?

edit

I mean it's nice hearing the boss' wife was a wannabe star, but still I think folks would be more interested in the business side of things.

The above comments related to the career of Dora Hall, which was a separate section in this article until removed today by an anon user. Dora Hall still redirects here. - Fayenatic (talk) 21:15, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

OK. However, wouldn't it be better to move the content about Leo Hulseman, Dora Hall and Premore to a separate article e.g. Leo Hulseman which currently redirects here? - Fayenatic (talk) 13:33, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Solo was Leo and Leo was Solo, this was family company.Telecine Guy 18:59, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Would it be bussiness-oriented to say that the facilities are insanely hot inside? I worked there this summer stacking boxes and found that it was hotter inside than out by at least 10 or 15 degrees. I was at the facility in Chicago on Kostner. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.12.99.163 (talk) 00:37, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

El Cajon

edit

Solo Cup sure isn't in El Cajon anymore! Did they have labor problems there! They're not even Solo Cup anymore, and they didn't make any red plastic cups there. They made paper plates, and the union problems they had made that hard for them. They sure do have problems with workers compensation. But they were on Fayette Street, so that explains Dora Hall.

Upper Iowa University, anyone? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.212.148.162 (talk) 09:44, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Choice of color for cups

edit

Is there any significance to red being the ubiquitous color of solo plastic cups? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomtaco (talkcontribs) 19:35, 2 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I heard that Solo cups are novelty items in Europe, can anyone clarify, and if it's true can it be added to the article? Bumblebritches57 (talk) 06:12, 9 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
