Romanisation
editSee 로마자 표기법 > 4. 국어의 로마자 표기법 전문(全文) > 제3장 표기상의 유의점 > 제5항: '도, 시, 군, 구, 읍, 면, 리, 동'의 행정 구역 단위와 '가'는 각각 'do, si, gun, gu, eup, myeon, ri, dong, ga'로 적고, 그 앞에는 붙임표(-)를 넣는다. 붙임표(-) 앞뒤에서 일어나는 음운 변화는 표기에 반영하지 않는다.
Note how 삼죽면 becomes Samjuk-myeon (not *Samjung-myeon) and 인왕리 becomes Inwang-ri (not *Inwang-ni), so Songguk-ri is correct. 02:20, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Wikipeditor, you left a note on the edit view about the Mc-R romanisation of 'Songgung-ni'. If you look at Korea Journal, until recently they used to use a slightly modified version of Mc-R romanisation that allowed for situations in Korean native speaker pronunciation in the middle of words such as 송국리 (two consonants ㄱ and ㄹ meet and the pronunciation changes). I originally thought that the Revised romanisation of July 7, 2000 also allowed for this but I think I'm wrong now. Mumun 20:55, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Categorisation
editWow, it's a really nice article now! But why categorise it under Category:Archaeological sites if we have a Category:Archaeological sites in Korea? Are there any major non-Korean aspects to it? Wikipeditor 02:16, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing that out. I fixed that problem and I think I may have to do so for some other articles, too.Mumun 09:56, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
