I moved the page from Songrim to Songnim, as Songnim is the accepted form in the official romanization system (a McCune–Reischauer varient) used in North Korea. DPRK government websites also use Songnim. (e.g. Export processing zone to be set up in Songnim) --Vindication (talk) 15:23, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

Songnim → Songrim – Per McCune–Reischauer#Consonants, "Songnim" is South Korean dialect but this is a city in North Korea so we should probably use North Korean dialect. See also Korean language#Differences between North Korean and South Korean which gives two examples of n/r differences between North and South Korea. However, I see that this article has been moved back and forth many times, so maybe I'm missing something.

North Korean variant

- Comment: Romanization system of North Korea is Romanization of Korean, not McCune–Reischauer. Thanks. --Garam (talk) 11:43, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

Songnim vs Songrim
edit(2023) Every single map I have been able to find shows Songnim, NOT Songrim. Seems to be a consensus. 98.115.160.165 (talk) 04:52, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
