Beacon Press- Publishing Pressa non grata
editThis is, in general, a lovely article. It was blighted with a big ugly banner about a blacklisted link.
I checked it out and it seems there is some legitimate concern about spam from Beacon Press. However, they publish a great deal of Sanchez's work, so it seemed appropriate that they have an external link directly to her contributor page www.beacon. org/contributorinfo.cfm?ContribID=1241
It should be noted that this link is separated from itself because the internal workings of the WikiCode won't let me save anything, even on a talk page, even on the talk page of the whitelist page, from a blacklisted site. This seems counterproductive. I did make a note to the same effect on the talk page of the whitelist page.

- Thanks for your message. In this case I have simply removed the link because I believe it is not necessary or appropriate for this article per our policy on external links: From what I can tell her bibliography is a sufficient list of her work, a shop page from one single publisher does not add to the article.
Amalthea 20:01, 11 October 2013 (UTC)- it does have a link to Tavis Smiley. it does not appear to be a violation of the EL guidelines. is it too "commercial" for you? Duckduckgo (talk) 17:33, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
