This article has stayed, the other was merged into this one. --Admiral Roo 05:04, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
ok now, now that this is done we need to change the name of the List of xbo360 for sonic the hedgehog (ps3 and xbox360) also for list of ps3 games><ino 05:11, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
Yes. Does anybody notice that this article seems to look like it's fan-filled? I saw this in part of a sentence: "old skool sonic." I fixed it. --Alexie
? fan filled? so... if people that are fan of something. when they edit an article they seem to know more, in another words..Fan of something will know more than an ordinary person for example a fan of Sony playstaion will know more than someone doing an article on it, the fan may know every single game ...ect
Old skool? yes that is the main word people uses now are days, saying old school is like going to school. you can use old skool for games, old skool for games is like in the 90's olding days, sayin old school for games is like when you were at school so... please change it back to "Old Skool":D ><ino 02:24, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
Does saying the 'traditional' rather than 'old skool' Sonic games solve the issue? --Ostrich 16:05 15 October 2005 (BST)
lol thanks a lot you got me lost just forget it, do what you like><ino 01:30, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
"The basic features of previous Sonic games return; Rail Grinding, Springs, " ? how did spring return in Sonic The Hedgehog? in other Sonic games, it doesn't even have it
- Please change it, at the side put, "a new concept has been added which is a spring"
What? What are you talking about? Springs have been in the Sonic Series since the first game. You know, big round things, you touch one and it springs you upwards? They even make a "boing!" sound. Maybe some people call them bumpers, but springs have been an intergral part to the Sonic Franchise ever since it began. It doesn't need to be changed, as it's not a new feature. It is a returning feature. BlazeHedgehog 16:10, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
Here is an example of a spring.
BlazeHedgehog 16:14, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
no..not springs, i meant rope, ><ino 21:50, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
But why? That's not really a mechanic worth mentioning; that's probably just a level prop. You might as well edit it to read, "Rocks and grass have been added." The ropes act like springs right now, and the only difference right now is purely visual. If, in the future, ropes are shown in more levels with better mechanics for them, sure. But right now I don't see much of a point. BlazeHedgehog 17:13, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
ok...but still...the ropes an't springs, just the object to get to the next plaform >x<ino 17:33, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
Hey, Xino? You really need to work on your writing skills, man. Maybe English isn't your first language, or maybe you're a younger fella (as your general attitude would suggest), but you really need to have someone else go through your writing and clean it up. Your punctuation alone makes me wanna cry. Perhaps let someone else take a crack at organizing and editing the details? Just a suggestion -Houk
Hmmmm..I have heard that cheapness before, and I think I know who it is! Again, don't act like a smart, there is a profile which I have created for you to look at! And comeup with something a lil better, I have heard all that crapness before!
- You might be some @ss "fAnboy"/forum trollers from another cheap forums
- Some idiot I know online
- Or just one of the idiot wiki's who isn't signed in yet!
Xino... take a step back and realize what you're doing. You're sounding crazy. Honestly? I know who Houk is. We're not friends (well, not in the direct sense), but I visit the same forum he does. And before you break out and start accusing me of the same things you accuse him of - let me cut you off early and tell you I'm not. You need to relax, man. I've been saying this almost every time I respond to something you say, anymore. Not everybody is out to get you and not everybody is here to ruin your work. BlazeHedgehog 08:07, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Oh look...already jumping into conclusion! First I didn't mention anybodyies name, nor mentioned your name.
Like I mentioned in the bullet points:
- fAnb0y and a forum troller
- Some idiot I know online
- Or just some idiot wiki member who isn't signed in yet!
because I have heard the same cheapness talks before about grammars.
Sonic for Genesis included rumor floating around
I've heard that Sonic Team is adding Sonic 1 (1991) with Sonic the Hedgehog. Need confirmation of that please... Anyone? Renegade Viking
Extremely little information is availiable about this game currently. Most of the basic gameplay mechanics, levels, plot... none of that is known. For Sonicteam to include Sonic 1 in this game at this stage in the game? Likely not true. They might yet put it in there (as that's a trend), but so little is known about the game at this stage, I find it hard to believe Sonicteam would already commit to something like that. BlazeHedgehog 03:50, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
same here the only information containing about the game are listed in this article. sonic hedgehog 1 on next gen sonic is a rumour, but it will be cool to see it because it will be Sega trying to show us the different attitude of speed
>x<ino 17:53, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
Is there really any point? Sonic 1 is already found in the Mega Collection games, and the next gen systems are all backwards compatible, so they don't need to waste their time trying to emulate it again. -- VederJuda 21:01, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
Yeah there is a point. You need to own Sonic Mega Collection or SMC Plus. Sonic the Hedgehog is only 1 MB as a ROM image, and is practically nothing on a DVD. >x<Renegadeviking 2:42, 10 December 2005
That would only be true for the Revolution and PS3 versions. Xbox 360 can't play Sonic Mega Collection Plus! Renegadeviking 6:48, 11 November 2005
- The Xbox360 with the hard drive can play it; Microsoft released a list of games that the 360 is backwards compatible with, and I'm guessing that they're not talking about the GameCube's "Sonic Mega Collection". Here's the list [1] -- VederJuda
yop those fools just keep wasting time
- remember all that matters is.....SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
>x<ino 21:52, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
Above: That equals my stupidity. Here: Yosh, the Shadow game will pwn. THEY DO WASTE TIMEZORZ. LIKE RIGHT NOW. -- Alexie
Nintendo Revolution version
I removed the comment that the Revolution version was likely not revealed because of a nondisclosure agreement (NDA), because it seems that Nintendo has removed the NDA; or at least they relaxed it so that 3rd parties could talk about what games they are developing. I recall a news posting that Sega wasn't announcing any games for the Revolution until they got some more info on the system, such as a final version of the dev kit (an IGN article says 3rd parties are still developing on a modified GameCube dev kit); but since I can't find a link to that particular tidbit, I'm not going to add it to the article. -- VederJuda 18:01, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
I see that the Sonic Revolution rumour has replaced the rumour that Sonic 2006 may or may not be coming to the Revolution; however, the new rumour doesn't say anything about a possible port of this game to the Revolution and that the port won't happen because of a Revolution specific version. Although there is the possibility that the Revolution could get two Sonic games (three if Sonic Riders 2 is considered), I'm not going to bother putting the old one back, one rumour is enough until some more info appears, and only the new one has some kind of "official" source. -- VederJuda 18:10, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Yes the Gameplay will be different because of the Revolution Pad, it will be like the DS Version, you know the one you use the pen to make SOnic run.
- If that was a response to what I said, then you didn't read what I wrote. I was saying that the old rumour (that Sonic 2006 might be coming for the Rev) was removed, and this one (Sonic Revolution) put in its place. What I said was that the new rumor doesn't disprove the old rumour, and that the Revolution might get both Sonic games, Sonic 2006 and Sonic Revolution. Now, if you were implying that the Revolution couldn't do Sonic 2006 because of the Rev controller, the Revolution will have a controller extension that will act like a standard controller; afteral, it'll need it to emulate older SNES and N64 games. I have no doubt that the Revolution specific Sonic game would play differently than the others. -- VederJuda 19:05, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Couldn't be botherd...ok lets see what you replied:P
The Sonic Next Gen, might not and might come to the Revolution, because Sega doesn't know any tech spec for the Revolution and it isn't because of the pad...and yes i do know there is an extension port. Sonic Revolution is just the achivement to the remote controll. So they can make the control have a special feel to gaming, they want to test it on a speed game which is SOnic....and remember Sega are working for Nintendo, they are producing Sonic Titles to Nintendo System.
- That remote idea was also from Zelda, so fans can be like Link,...AKA waving the sword
- >x<ino 19:36, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- Someone was bold and went ahead and created a Sonic the Hedgehog Revolution article. They have a rumor source, but I'll let someone else sort it out. ~ Hibana 18:02, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
Who ever did it, was a suker!
- Because Wiki will soon rename it or redirect it to a better name
- >x<ino 18:39, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
On a slightly related note, someone added a rumour that Sonic would be in the next Smash Bros game; I deleted it because I felt it didn't belong here since the rumour had less to do with this game and more to do with Smash Bros and Sonic in general. I think the other rumour (about the Revolution Sonic game) is still valid here because that rumour addresses the question that gamers have as to why this game hasn't been announced for the Rev, even though it is still a rumour and doesn't say whether or not the game will hit the Rev, let alone why. -- VederJuda 12:06, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
Rumours
All the Rumours displayed at the Rumour section, needs to be reduce...
- Because I couldn't even find any rumour about all that
Even most visitors won't even believe them
- So...What we need to do now is.
- Reduce some of the rumours
- If any rumours are to be added, then a reference to a website should be stated at the end of the rumour
There are just as many rumors as there are facts. Most of the rumors arose when the game was first unveiled. Sites like Gamespot, etc. So far, I haven't seen anything really crazy turn up in the rumors section, so I don't see why it needs to be cleaned up unless it starts to become overkill. BlazeHedgehog 06:50, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yes but it will be better if their was a link reference proving that the rumours are real.
Any suker can just make up a rumour.
- Because people might actually want to know where the rumours come from
Do your duty! Marines!
Well, it will take a long time for me to find and cite all the sources. BlazeHedgehog 11:05, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- Well...that's just starting the fake rumours:P
Just look for forums & fan sites
We're getting too many rumors that have nothing to do with this game, but for other rumoured Sonic games. First there was the rumour that this game might appear on the Revolution, but that was replaced with the IGN rumour that the Rev was getting it's own Sonic game. Now someone has added the rumour about a Sonic Online RPG, which is 6 months old, and has nothing to do with this game. At this point, I think both should go; the second should definitely go, and the first could possibly be changed back to the old rumour, or at least tweaked in someway to show how it relates to this game. -- VederJuda 14:12, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
LOL, my bad:P
- I added the second one...what!? I though the news was new:P...DELETE IT
No..leave the first one, it relates to this game
Sega's website now seems to call the game "15th Anniversary Sonic the Hedgehog" and even has a new logo for it. Is the new name?
- No. It's just "Sonic the Hedgehog". The 15th Anniversary bit is... just to let you know the game is in celebration of Sonic's 15th Anniversary. It's just how the text is arranged. BlazeHedgehog 16:35, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- At the moment Sega is internally calling it Sonic the Hedgehog Next-Gen, although I'm not sure where a good spot would be to add this reference to the article. --DavidHOzAu 07:52, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- O Since when did SEGA start calling it Sonic the Hedgehog NeXt Gen?
The main name is Sonic the Hedgehog, the 15 anni logo is the marking of Sonic since the Mega Drive days. And NeXt Gen, is just to comfirm it is coming out for the NeXt Gen: Which are Xbox 360 and ps3. Rev0lution isn't NeXt Gen.
Release Date
This release date does not make sense because it will be available on PS3, which doesn't come out until November, 5 months later. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.116.159.80 (talk • contribs)
- Then obviously it won't be out for the PS3 on that date. --Zeno McDohl 01:30, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
Moves
Yes, you are all thinking SOnic can do a break dancing move, similar to Sonic Battle. No that is wrong!
In the demo version, when Sonic attacks the robot. In slow motion: He jumps up, turn into a ball, and pounce to the robot. Once hit, Sonic knocks back, turn out of the ball and back to himself. Without the slow motion, it would seem like Sonic is doing a backflip on the robots.
The break dancing. Have we ever seen Sonic do any other move when attack in his game...NO! Accept for Sonic Battle. But SOnic battle is actually like Sonic Fighters. Where characters battle. That's the whole point. Other than that, Sonic can't use backflip, tornado kick, or breakdancing kick to attack his enemies...
You saw some cheap shots on some magazine...so what? We wait til E3. I say, that should go to the rumour section. Because who knows, when they show Sonic at E3, they might decide to cancel it! :/
- Dude, you're kind of a jerk. The brilliance of Wikipedia is we can add and change stuff as we learn of it. It's not going to kill you to add this and leave it there until we know for certain. Like I said, lighten up - don't be so freakin' up-tight about everything. BlazeHedgehog 20:06, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- It's not a rumor. This is new information from a new article in a magazine. It can come there, too, it doesn't have to be from E3. Heck, that's how we know about the new city stage.
- In other words, I concur. Please stop removing this. You're getting very close to the Three Revert Rule, too. --Shadow Hog 20:16, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Dude, you're kind of a jerk Oh I am the jerk...don't worry, keep your words coming, I can take em all and anytime!. But when I start using mine, they start saying, be loyal to other wiki, be civil, blah blah blah, shut da hell up!
The brilliance of Wikipedia is we can add and change stuff as we learn of it Yes, that is the brilliance of Wiki, any suker can edit! Even if you can change and add stuff, but still. Wiki is all about facts! Some idiot might just come to this article, read about the move thing, and going around spreading rumours about it. Later someone with a proof will delete the move thing. That is the main thing, Wiki as to be a fact! Will you collapse if you don't wait for E3? Will you die? Did the doctor told you, you got 7 days to live? Is that why you can't wait for E3? Look at the rumour section, most of them need a [citation needed]. That is why I am saying the article needs to be a fact. Because some info came out of some cheap magaizne, you think it's true. What happen to the top websites? IGN, Gamespot and 1up?
If we are still in January and E3 is at May, then you can add the move thing. But for f*king God sake, E3 is at f*king 7/6 days left! Wait till 6/7 days, then all information will be flowing in. After E3 or during E3. Every wiki editor will be busy, cuz of the info they will be getting in! And my friend, it seems you are just to exicted for this damn game, calm down! You don't even have a next gen console yet, not even the damn game isn't even release yet!
It's not going to kill you to add this and leave it there until we know for certain That is what I am saying, someone can just come in, see that info and get it mixed up. Some might just put a fact tag or clean up tag. That is also the main problem, if you keep a false info there, people might think it is correct. Like wat we are arguing about the move thing now. Visitors might just think Wiki is full of fake info, and anyone can edit. I already know some people who are already taking Wiki as a fake false website! This is why I need wiki to be fact all the time. People like you are the one giving this site bad critics and names:/
It can come there, too, it doesn't have to be from E3. Heck, that's how we know about the new city stage.Look who is talking...Why da hell doesn't that move information thing be at E3? You 2 are just too freaking exicted. Wait till E3!
Heck, that's how we know about the new city stage.Sure...as if that City Stage, might even be in the game. You seem to be forgetting, it is just a demonstration, and also for the Havok Engine show. You think the level shown at TGS, will be in the final game!? That is a damn demo, just like this one!
Beside, that picture showing Sonic doing the break dancing.[2] To me, it doesn't look like a break dancing move, he does look like he is sliding under that robots tenicle or also Sonic is giving some robot (as the camera) a boot kick! Again the thing says: BREAKDANCE FIGTHING Sonic's got some new moves to spice up combat. That is what it says! The word BREAKDANCE FIGHTING. Do you think that is the name of the move? It is not. It is just called that to make it feel like that. You don't even know about adversiting and newspapers. Not as if you even read one:/
Let me explain that section to you: BREAKDANCE FIGHTING, is just to attract gamers like you, into thinking there might be a breakdancing fighting in the game. But that was to attract, call out and get your attention! Now the main details is Sonic having some new cool moves, not just the bouce attack. You can see the move, in this mag [3]. And if you think the wall walking is a move, it isn't! And the top page pic looks like the "so called breakdancing move"...but that looks like a kicking move to me. the top big picture. Does that look like Sonic doing a breakdancing? NO! Sonic is doing a slide attack! And when it says Sonic got some new moves to spice up combat...which means he also has other cool moves!
You're getting very close to the Three Revert Rule, too Do you really think I give a damn!? I said, wait till E3...so we can comfirm this! Plain and simple!
We don't need to wait until E3! This is Wikipedia! We can edit it into the article now, and then, when E3 comes, if it's different than we thought, we can change it then, too! And right now, that's what ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR PLAYSTATION MAGAZINES IN THE UNITED STATES says. I've seen you editing other Sonic articles and you're really pushy. You're doing the same thing right now. Take it easy, and remember that other people maintain these articles, too. Don't drink so much caffine, or something. Right now, it's two against one on this issue. Chill out. You're not the only Sonic fan on the face of this planet. BlazeHedgehog 05:18, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
We don't need to wait until E3!
Why not? You will die if you wait for E3?
Even the damn Wii article is now even lock, cuz of the damn name, even they agreed to wait for E3. Most articles are waiting E3 Comfirmation details. Why can't this article wait?
It doesn't matter if anyone can edit anything. Wikipedia as to be about facts! If you add a wrong info, then you know you will be reverted!. That is what I am doing now! And I am trying to prove to you, it might not be called breakdancing kick! That was just the name of the attracting! Or it might be Breakdancing. Alot of people don't beleive IGN news, that is why the Sonic Next Gen (Revolution) Wii, is at the rumour section. Which I believe it s true. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!
And right now, that's what ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR PLAYSTATION MAGAZINES IN THE UNITED STATES says And are we even suppose to upload images of scanned magazines!? Remember magazines policy, TOS, Code of Conduct and Copyright. You think they will allow us to post images of their scans? People will be looking at it without paying for it. That is why that method is not allowed in forums and such! Yes, it might be in PS3 magazines, is it in the top websites!? 1up, Gamespot? IGN? Did PS magazine comfirmed the name of the move? Or did they fight it in a facy way?
I've seen you editing other Sonic articles and you're really pushy. How many!? Want me to list them and explain them?
Shadow the Hedgehog: I did many reverts and such. I added the damn Super Shadow section, which as been contansly been vandalised! I even posted the notes that person kept on adding, at the Talk Page, why those details are all false! But still kept on going in there. Now that is vandalism! Yes I did say I will ban that editor, cuz he needed it! I directed him to the Talk Page to see why the details are wrong!
Sonic Heroes: no problem in this article, cuz fAnb0ys dislike this game, that is why it an't being constanly vandaled!
Shadow the Hedgehog video game: I mostly got this article way better than before! Someone came in and did some @ss clean up, cleaning off most of the details. leaving it worthless. This article was also been vandal constanly, cuz fanboys love this game too much!
You're doing the same thing right nowBecause I am here, reverting a cheap edit. Where 2 editors believe something is right because they saw it in a magazine...Where I am trying to comfirm to you it might be a breakdancing move and might not be. WAIT TILL E3! Also I am trying to tell you, we can't add any information, and wait, till it as been comfirmed. Becasue it will just be reverted and that is what I am doing!
Right now, it's two against one on this issueAnd what does that mean, look suker, I can take out any suker anyday!
I am a Sonic Fan, but not a fanboy like you or a crazy Sonic fan. I just like him, and better than Mario. Plan and Simple. I don't cooperate with fanboys!
- Stop being such a control freak. YOU aren't going to die if the majority (that is, two against one) decides AGAINST what you want. Wikipedia isn't about the individual, it's about the group as a whole - something you are on the wrong end of right now. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that documents all the latest information AS IT HAPPENS. That does not mean waiting a week for E3. That means adding the information as we find it, and we found it. Get your head out of your ass, sit down, and shut up. BlazeHedgehog 09:44, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
Stop being such a control freak Control freak!? it would be better if you said "freak sh*t!":P.
YOU aren't going to die if the majority (that is, two against one) decides AGAINST what you want Decideds!? I can get alot of people and we all vote! That is how I normally get rid of my problems. You fools are just first class wikis:/
Wikipedia isn't about the individual, it's about the group as a whole Why won't you cooperate?
something you are on the wrong end of right now Sorry suker, I know what I am doing!
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that documents all the latest information AS IT HAPPENSEh WRONG! That is not what an encyclopedia, encyclopeida is a gathering of all information into one, and connection. Also manages the history! If wiki is an encylcopedia, then it to follow that rule! And being a informaiton as it happens. Is not true! Wiki articles just get updated, because of the changes made. Like I said before, Wiki is about FACT! Something as been changed, an article must need an update to be correct!
That does not mean waiting a week for E3. That means adding the information as we find itEven adding the information, you 2 fools don't even understand that so called magazine!
Get your head out of your ass, sit down, and shut upYou are really really testing me, but I will just allow you...cuz you are not worth it!
By the way, info's have changed!
And I have proved you two fools wrong!
I even explained about the magazine description, that it is to attract the user!
OWNED!
You are not the person who can say what information is right and what information is wrong. You are not the police, and you do not own this article. It is not yours. You are insulting, loud-mouthed, pushy and you don't speak english very well - until you GET those votes to change the article to the way you want it, right now it is Me & Shadow Hog against you. If you're going to be a jerk and changing this crap to whatever you want and I feel you're stepping out of line, I'm going to change it back for as long as Wikipedia allows me to. It's as simple as that. We can work together just fine as long as you DON'T flip out when somebody adds in information from A RESPECTABLE SOURCE. BlazeHedgehog 22:08, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
What da hell? still replying in this cheap section!?
owning time:
You are not the person who can say what information is right and what information is wrong Sorry son, that is now my duty! Says in my profile! I don't add info anymore, and idiots making changes to it, making it false and wrong!
You are not the police, and you do not own this articleBeing listening to daddy are we(RandyWang)? good job, your daddy will lead you to editing good articles. Sorry son, I don't claim articles, I used to do that the first few months I was at wiki, and stoped doing it since. I dunno what got into Randy's head, braging on about me owning articles. Sucker can't flame me, trying to use some idiotic excuss to make me look dumb.
It is not yours. You are insulting, loud-mouthed, pushy and you don't speak english very wellIf it isn't mine, then who is it?:/. Loud mouth? You want me to copy and paste some loud you have done!? Pushy!? sorry son, I only push idiots who disobey and won't listen!. English? Like I said before, American kids really really really needs to learn. To bad there isn't spanking, if there is spanking you will know how to obey your elders!
until you GET those votes to change the article to the way you want it, right now it is Me & Shadow Hog against youSon...I am right, your @ss is wrong! LEARN HOW TO READ A NEWSPAPER AND A ARTICLE CORRECTLY!
right now it is Me & Shadow Hog against youBring it on!
If you're going to be a jerk and changing this crap to whatever you want and I feel you're stepping out of line, I'm going to change it back for as long as Wikipedia allows me toSorry son, tables have turned ages ago! I am the one reverting you!
We can work together just fine as long as you DON'T flip out when somebody adds in information from A RESPECTABLE SOURCEIf you learn to listen, co-operate, don't judge others, listen to the leader! Then it will work out:P
Cleaning Up
Since IGN came up with fact details and clearifity! unlike the cheap magazine. People have added some info, and I am clearing them
I have added why I am clearing the information. And please do not revert unless you disagree with me, just state why and then revert!:
- There are at least two levels in the game - one is a grassy ruin, while the other is a decaying city reminiscent of Westopolis from Shadow the Hedgehog, the damage likely caused by Doctor Eggman's invading robot army. [1] First of all, you kept on redirecting the user to a refernce, when there are about 3 links, one of the link doesn't work! Second, create a Stage Section! It won't kill! We don't need to know about the grassy ruins and Westopolis like stage. What is the point of adding it when you dont even know both damn names! Again, those stages might not be in the final game, because that video shown was a demo.
- The detail level and draw distance have been upped considerably. In the demo, Sonic was seen running around fields, forests and canyons that seemed to go on for miles in every direction. High-res textures everywhere and surround Sonic. Each blade of grass is drawn as a single object. This is a weak edit, but I won't bother doing anything to it. Because DUH! IT is a Next gen Game!
- A Day/Night cycle has been implemented. As the player progress through the game, time slowly changes from dawn, noon, dusk, night time, and back to dawn again in real-time. Everything in the game casts shadows based on the position of the sun or moon.
- The basic features of previous Sonic games return; Rail Grinding, Springs, Dash Plates and the Homing Attack were all shown in the Demo. It is unknown how much this move set will be changed for the future.Do you mean moves or move. I almost forgot, when I started adding the details about the know features, which I called Concepts before, I was saying there is a new gameplay thing added, some spring thing. But then again, you all act as if you knew it all. Scroll up and see for yourself!
- New moves have been added, including a sliding kick, and Shinobi-style wall running. [2]No the sliding Kick isn't really new, because that as been used in Sonic Heroes, but it is new, because in Sonic Heroes. Knuckles and Tails held on to SOnic's back, while SOnic did the slide kick (breakdancing), but in this game Sonic does it alone which makes it new:/. Shinobi Style isn't the official name. IGN just used that word, because that is like a symbol of how ninja runs. Once again, That shinobi style isn't new, because it as been used in Sonic Adventure!
- Yuji Naka has stated that this game will capture the most realistic sensation of speed ever, a feature only possible on Next-Generation Systems. This could be seen as a parallel to how NiGHTS Into Dreams was designed: capturing sensation of flight. If this is added, why can't it be fused with the second bullet point!?
- The Havok Physics Engine has been implemented, giving robots and debris realistic physics as objects crumble, fall and bounce around the playing field.Needs to be moved up along with the second bulletpoint!
- In previous Sonic Titles, character models were constructed with about 1,500 polygons. While still in debate over the validity of the claim, a recent issue of Gamepro said that player models in this game will be composed of over 1 million polygons each. [3]
- By default, the camera is closer to Sonic, and lower to the ground than the previous Sonic games, to help emphasize the sensation of speed.
- Gameplay is broken up into two gameplay styles, similiar to the original Sonic Adventure: Action Stage and Adventure Field. Action Stages are primarily where the bulk of the gameplay takes place, whereas Adventure Fields are free-roaming locations where the player can talk to NPCs and explore.
This is not fully comfirmed yet! The name Action Stage & Adventure an't the name! And NPC's? Please use full text!
- Sonic is now much taller than he was before; nearly the size of a real human being. That isn't nesscceary, you can atleast put the info in his own autobiography article! Atleast if you are stating that, put the damn actual size!
From this edit, I can see how non flawless you two's edits are! And you edit like a first class editor! Reading notes from certain websites, always get you two confused! Because IGN ued the word "Shinobi", you 2 believe them!? How can you believe them. Also they didnt even know the grinding rail name! Calling it skatboard.
If you dissapprove with the edits I have made, please state your reasons here!
Iblis
"Islamic devil of the same name/Iblis". Is this right!? But why would Sonic be the devil!? Sonic is good...
I am thinking the Iblis might just be something different, because Sonic universe doesn't truly relate to this world. For an example Emeralds! So I say, we remove the link first, and wait for E3.
Actually, the original japanese storylines for the Sonic games referenced Gods and Heaven somewhat often; the Gods were the ones who created the chaos emeralds, the Gods became angry when wars broke out over the chaos emeralds, the Gods created the Master Emerald, and with it a protector: Chaos, the God of Destruction. The thought that Iblis might be a reference to an Islamic Jinn isn't really that far-fetched. BlazeHedgehog 08:04, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Nazo - Other info
Sega have seemingly based the design of the white Hedgehog of Nazo, a prototype character in the TV Series Sonic X, who appeared in several unaired episodes. Nazo and this White Hedgehog have several resemblances: IGN & Gamespot called the Hedgehog "white hedgehog". From that promo poster, the Hegehog looks baby blue to me. Maybe the promo poster, 3 the 3 characters are good. From Gamespot's talk about the game: and a mysterious white hedgehog with a big, wispy white 'do.The Hedgehog with the 3 thing on his head, seem like who they are refering to...
- Both characters are white, and have think black lines aroung their eyes. The Hedgehog you are refering to "Nazo", does have a black line on around his outline eyes, the same goes for the hedgehog on that promo poster
- Both characters didn't wear gloves, like many Sonic characters.Look at the Hedgehog you are refering to: [4]. And look at this hedgehog you thing might be Nazo: [5] This promo picture, the hedgehog is wearing a glove, a glove with a darker colour than him.
- Both characters appear as a mysterious nemesis. Not really...Nazo means Mysterious, but this baby blue Hedgehog might not be mysterious
- Both characters hold supernatural powers, however the similaroties of these powers has yet to be seen. Yea the mysterious white hedgehog does hold super natural powers.
- Nazo himself had superior strength and Speed, even to Super Sonic, as well as the ability to remain in Super form forever, used Chaos Powers, fire enery balls and lasers, aswell as fly similar to the characters of Dragonball Z and GT. This white hedgehog however is unknown in what he is capable of. I though Hyper form is stronger than Super form!? I don't remember Sonic characters having the ability to fire, fireballs. AND yes... even though the character is at Super or Hyper form, they can fight like DBZ characters either way. Because in Sonic Adventure 1, they didn't allow Sonic to free fly.
Now do you see what this information isn't too fact! We wait for E3! Not to long.
Nazo isn't what Silver looked like when he was being made!
PC VERSION
Ever since this game was annouced, only 2 version were comfirmed: PS3 & Xbox 360. Uptil now, no additional info about the versions were sad or released, unless for the Revolution version. Which I truley believe it isn't a rumour!
Now onto the main event: The image promo poster[6]
Now, I know that isn't fan made, because it looks exaclty how Gamespot & IGN comfirmed Sonic's look and his image. Saying he is taller, skinner ect. The same appeals for the mysterous hedgehog whom they call White. In this poster this hedgehog is baby blue/ light blue: grey!?. But without jumping into speculations, this hedgehog might just be a character that will/might help Sonic. Now Gamespot, gaming magazines nor IGN never said or mentioned anything about Shadow being in the game. But still...Sonic Team comfirmed that old character will appear.
Sonic Team once mentioned that this game will feature online capablities. And we can guess Sonic Team an't lying or changing their minds because we can see Xbox Live next to Xbox 360. Which shows it will support online capablies. For the 3 logo's we can see there are Xbox 360|Xbox Live PLAYSTATION 3 PC. Yes, when a company is adversting a game, they will always use the game company's logo. Now ps3 and xbox had their logo there. But what about PC? It just says PC. Now from other games, PC logo are normally in black and white and says PC/CD or PCD/DVD.[7],[8] . Look at those 2 links giving a picture of 2 pc games, you can clearly see that is how a pc game version logo is.
Once again, for the PC logo, if you zoom in, you can see the shadow behind the text, which seems like it as been printed on the poster. And last but not the least! The PC text is much bigger than xbox 360 and ps3's logo.
Now I have completely prove me point, no need for reverting!
The new white guy is Sonic's new rival, not ally MindWraith
But that hedgehog doesn't look white, looks light blue to me...Maybe IGN & Gamespot didn't get the colours right, because sometimes showing off a game demo at a conference or meeting, doesn't bring out the best quality. Anyway, we shall see what that Hedgehog is at E3.
Now...I am guessing the "promo" picture gotten from Sonic Staduim might be fake!
Here![9]
Don't have to look into the site, just go to it, scroll down and you will see PC Version logo. I have proven my point!
Personally, I think we need to leave this straight as a rumor: neither confirmed true nor confirmed false. On the one hand, that part of the poster, although different-looking than the norm, looks real, and the poster as a whole matches with what we've heard in the news. Plus, the "white" hedgehog is really supposed to be silver, so his colors could look slightly different between game and poster. On the other hand, we can't really rule out a fake poster yet; it is an unusual PC logo, and I personally think that the image of Shadow looks like it was ripped off something from his game (it even kinda looks like he's holding an invisible gun in his lower hand). So, both options are still rumors as of this time. I must admit, I am really hoping that the PC is true, but it is slightly hard to believe, so I just don't know. I just wish someone would confirm or deny this. I.M.Fearless 19:54, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
You make an excellent point!
Personally, I think we need to leave this straight as a rumor:We can leave it as a rumour, but the problem is, not many people are thinking it is avialable for PC. Then again, we are the one discussing about it, so we might leave it in the rumour section, but without pointing out detail refering to the promo poster.
If this game does come to the pc...It will be on Windows Vista!
Hey, new thought, what if Sega hasn't decided whether they want to use CDs or DVDs for a PC version? In that case, they would need a generic logo that said neither, resulting in the unusual logo on the poster. I know, I'm probably dwelling on this too much, but I can dream, can't I? I.M.Fearless 21:18, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Known Features
"*Online support could be available for this game, one doesn't know what Sonic Team has to offer for this. Maybe players can download more extra contents, play a 2 verus player matching or registering highscores."
What the heck! That is about as far from know fact as you can get! MindWraith
Yea, that is true, because Sonic Team comfirmed that, during an interview with Gamespot teams. They said they are including some online support, but don't want to give details.

E3 TRAILER
I have just seen the trailer and corrected some notes in this article.
First:
- Sonic isn't the Iblis Trigger! The white hedgehog said, "I've finally found it... the Iblis Trigger!"
Now, saying the word "it" means it as to be an object animal or thing. In Sonic world we all know Sonic is a male, so...Sonic can no longer be called a "it" because he is an animal: Hedgehog, since he is a male, then he should be called "he".
- Doctor Eggman is now taller than before and skinny!. The same applies for Sonic, longer legs, even longer than the type of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. It seems IGN were over extreggrating about Sonic being tall just like a human. And talking about 5foot.
- The promo poster: that poster is real but 100% spoiled and edited. That white hedgehog isn't blue! The game doesn't even have a PC version... yet. The same may even apply for the logo provided, about Xbox 360 and having Xbox Live next to it. Players and people might think we can play this game via xbox live. Now I think that picture should be removed or should show more explanation about it's editory!
- CHARACTERS: like Sonic Team said, some characters from Sonic world will return. To me it seems only Shadow is returning. The white Hedgehog, it seems he can tranform to a super form.
- Sonic
- Eggman
- Princess Elise
- Shadow
- White Whedgehog
- Iblis Trigger
- GAMEPLAY: From the trailer, starting with Sonic. Shows him running, doing the attack moves and stuff. And showing off that invisible air ride thing Sonic riding on. Then move on to Shadow. He can be seen riding a jeep armed with weaponry. And using it to attack Eggman's robot. White Hedgehog, was seen fitting his gloves. Which is the normal gameplay of Sonic, then another stage shows him in super mode, manuipulating some missles fired by a robot and sending it back to it.
AGAIN, the gameplay is like Sonic Adventure and Shadow the Hegdehog combine together. Because the final boss of the game is some dragon with flames which looks like the creature of d00m 3: that guardain of light located in hell. And I think that is the Iblis Trigger, If that is not the name, Doctor Eggman told the princess, he is here to obtain the "Flames of Distaser" That creature seen was cover with flame and volcano ashes.
CONCLUSION!
Now...Am I right or wrong! So...now:
- SONIC isn't the Iblis Trigger
- The Iblis Trigger is the final creature/boss, or the Iblis Trigger is the key to unlocking the creature or power: Flames of Disaster, Eggman was looking for
- And yes the princess is human, for the editor adding if the princess was...
- Each character has is or her own gameplay symbol
- Will this game follow up Sonic Adventure storyline? Shadow the Hedgehog contiunity? Sonic Heroes? Old Sonic the Hedgehog start off or just a fresh start!?
- No, you're just an idiot. They've barely shown anything yet, and it can easily be assumed that that boss shown isn't even close to the final boss--it's probably an early boss. Thus far, they've only SHOWN Shadow, but that doesn't mean he's the only one. As for that poster, it's 100% real, yes, but NOT edited. How can you determine that from one trailer? More characters WILL return--it's a guaranteed fact. SEGA is just showing off the main plot characters, and the main playable characters at this moment in time. They'll show more later, but not yet. Oh, and Sonic IS the Iblis Trigger. 'It' refers to a thing, yes, and the Iblis Trigger is a thing. However, that 'thing,' the Iblis Trigger, also happens to be a person--a he. Sonic is both an 'it'--the Iblis Trigger, and a 'he'--a male hedgehog. The logo on that article is also completely accurate. As for the new hedgehog turning gold, my guess is that he changes color when he uses his powers, and that 'teal' color is one of them. The gold is probably yet another one, too. Sonic is the Iblis Trigger, and he is probably meant to trigger Iblis, but that doesn't mean he's evil. --68.74.204.174 01:45, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Ok then
- Explain to me some brief details about the word "Flames of Disaster!"
- Yes you are right, Shadow isn't the only character. What other character are you expecting!? Chris!? Sorry son...SEGA are not putting all this childish character you fAnb0ys and kids loves. Why do you think Shadow's gameplay symbol now refers to violent. I which Shadow's game, when killing the enemy, blood comes out, so kids won't be able to play it.
- The promo poster? Are you the one that edited the picture!?
- If the white hedgehog can change colour, tell me, "how come the hedgehog didn't change is colour to baby/light blue in the trailer?"
- Iblis Trigger!? You have no idea what you are saying, you weren't even making your self clear. When you are refering to someone, you don't call them it! You call them him or her refereing to their gender. The fact of all, you don't call human it! Yes Sonic isn't human, but have you ever heard anyone in the game call Sonic it? Have you heard anybody in this world, gamers or people call Sonic it? You can only use the word it, when you are pointing out to a robot, object, animals if you are not sure about it's gender.
- The boss shown, the same way Sonic Adventure was shown. You can see the city, being destoryed. The same way Chaos did in Sonic Adventure 1. That character is incredibly large. Eggman referes to Flames of Disaster. Which is that monster. The same way Eggman wanted Chaos.
- Iblis Trigger again, have you seen the cheap trailer? The white hedgehog was looking at the city, which means he can be refering to the city. But it can't be the city because the city's name goes by the anme SOLEANE.
You don't even make sense! You said so yourself, it refers to a thing, the thing is the flame monster. Like I said before you can't call someone when you know his/her gender "it". Iblis is a word used in Islamic devil. How can Sonic be evil? From the trailer, who do you think looks much eviler!? POINTED OUT! CASED CLOSED! DISMISSED! I rest my cheap case!
To me, the character that might make a return will be:
- Knuckles
- Tails
Those are the main characters also, because they have always being in Sonic games
- But I an't too sure of Amy
Any more people want to protest about this!?
- No, I don't expect Chris to appear. I expect Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Rouge to appear, along with some possible other characters who were either scrapped or are other major characters since the turn to 3D. (Btw, that last one was mine but I didn't realize I wasn't logged in.)
- To my knowledge, Perfect Chaos was shown in the intro movie to Sonic Adventure, but that doesn't mean he appeared in any of the early TRAILERS! Iblis, which if it does mean 'devil,' would more and likely be that monster shown. However, I think that it was simply a creature created by Eggman, with the Flames of Disaster. If 'Iblis' means 'Devil,' then 'Iblis Trigger' would mean 'Devil Trigger.' It's quite possible that it isn't exactly Sonic, but Super Sonic, but let's not get into that.
- Now, if that monster was the Iblis Trigger, then it wouldn't be the final boss of the game. Why? Because if it was only triggering the iblis, then wouldn't it be more likely that that creature was simply to bring out the iblis, and that would be the final boss? Just because Sonic is destined to trigger the Iblis, doesn't mean that he's evil.
- As for the promo poster, I was guessing that it's either a scanning error, or some lighting effects which caused it. I can't do CG work. I'm crappy at art-related stuff PERIOD.
- Now, when you're refering to someone, you generally do call him/her a 'he' if you don't know it's gender or if you know that the person is a male, or 'she' when you know that the person is a female. HOWEVER, I have a few things to state. First off, the hedgehog is looking down at Sonic (Gamespot, IGN, and other gamesites confirm it), so he's clearly refering to Sonic. Second off, though Sonic is a he, Silver (if that actually is his name) is calling him an 'it' because he's refering to the Iblis Trigger. The Iblis Trigger is an 'it,' and it is also Sonic. Sonic is both a he and an it, because he's both a male hedgehog and the Iblis Trigger. What's so hard about that? Maybe it was a little confusing, but how simple is it to determine that when the new hedgehog said 'it,' he meant Sonic?
- The city being shown is early on in the game, from what I can tell. So, if it's so early in the game, why would and how could that creature be the final boss of the game? The creature doesn't necessarily have to be the 'Flames of Disaster,' but something created by them. We can't tell the whole plot of the game from a single trailer.
- As for the city, we don't know if that city is Soleanna. We do know that there will be a number of Town Stages, so we can assume that there will be many stages. For all we know, the city shown with the creature is a different one. It could be Central City, Westopolis, Soleanna, Station Square, a new city, or another known Sonic city. Personally, I actually think that THAT city (the city with the creature) is Central City.
- Well, I had a nice long post now. Why don't we WAIT and see what the truth is? I still highly doubt that they'd show the final boss of the game in the first major trailer (the first one showed off the game, but the second actually showed new plot elements). Bah, maybe they'll reveal some new info by the end of E3. --Ultimate 20:29, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Like SEGA said, they don't want to bring to many characters, non childish ones! This game suppose to be the represent of Sonic the Hedgehog on the Mega Drive Systems. To me:
- Tails should be in it! 100%
- Knuckles should be in it! 100%
- Possible Amy, but who knows....50%
- Rouge: I dunno about this but 50%
That is it! The rest shouldn't be there, example Cream, too childesh the same applys for that robot! The robot as no use in the story anymore
Duh...that is what I was saying earlier. Like I said before, Sonic nor Super Sonic cannot be the Iblis. The White hedgehog, was looking at the city, which he referes to, the white hedgehog possible means the monster. And most of all, the white hedgehog might mean Doctor Eggman, for releasing the creature.
- As for the promo poster, I was guessing that it's either a scanning error, or some lighting effects which caused it. I can't do CG work. I'm crappy at art-related stuff PERIOD.
Huh!? did you do the picture!? To me, the picture was 100% edited. The white hedgehog is white, his rumoured name is Silver. And we all know silver is a white colour! From that poster, the image of the hedghog is blue: light blue or baby blue!. It shows PC. If you look at all pc version games, you will notice that isn't how the logo looks like. Again the PC logo is bigger than ps3 & xbox 360's.
Still listing to the words of IGN!? First of all: YES Sonic is an hedgehog which we can call a it. But we know it is now a male, then we can now call him a He. Who ever doesn't know the gender of Sonic can call him a it. Possible the white hedgehog, guessing if Sonic is a he or she. Again, after the Hedgehog says "Iblis trigger blah blah blah". It shows and zooms to Sonic. Smiling, the background was redish and Sonic standing on a mountian. If you acctualy reverse and watch the trailer again, you will notice, they Showed Sonic again. WHich means it as been showed twiced. Second, the white hedgehog wasn't looking down at Sonic[10] (if you are blind enough, or can't tell a eye purple). Then Sonic was standing on a moutina, above with the clouds...so...how can the white hedgehog be steerling at Sonic below, and Sonic ontop of him standing on a moutain rock!? Third. Have you checked the Iblish article!? Do you know what a Iblis is? It is bascially calling Satan or Devil in islamic way. The same way you prounce "shatan". Sonic cannot be the devil/Iblis, because he is good. Super Sonic cannot be the devil/Iblis because he is the saviour. The devil/Iblis might be: Doctor Eggman, because of his evil deeds. The Devil/Iblis can be the monster that is the overall size of Perfect Chaos. Do you know what a trigger is? A trigger is triggering the key of an object. If you want to make a gun fire bullets, you have to push the key, and the key is the trigger. Now that is it, Devil Trigger: Iblis Trigger. | Devil Key : Iblis Key.
In the starting of the trailer. The princess knows a sercert: Flames of Disaster via using the Chaos Emerald. Eggman captures her for both. Now tell me...what one is the key/trigger? The chaos emerald is the key/trigger, because it is the way of unlocking the flames of disaster. Who is and what is the flames of disaster. The gigantic monster shown at the trailer is! Because the monster is covered with volcanic flames and fire. Around the scenary, is all flames. The white hedgehog scenary[11] is the cause of the Monster. Why would an official trailer show of one of the boss in the game!? Face it:
- Eggman, chaos emerald or the monster are the prime suspect of being the Iblis Trigger
- Sonic nor Super Sonic isn't the Iblis/Devil
- The monster is the final boss and possible Flames of Disaster, same way of Perfect Chaos
As for the city, we don't know if that city is Soleanna. Or possible Station Square, the same area Perfect Chaos did!
Well, I had a nice long post now. Why don't we WAIT and see what the truth is? I still highly doubt that they'd show the final boss of the game in the first major trailer (the first one showed off the game, but the second actually showed new plot elements). Bah, maybe they'll reveal some new info by the end of E3.Atlast! Someone who choose to listen!
The main problem is...how will the storyline go?
Sonic Team already messed up some 3D Sonic game storyline.
We already know Shadow the hedgehog game was a spinoff, and to clearify his history, story and life!
TIMELINE:
Sonic Adventure--> Sonic Adventure 2---> SonicHeroes---> Shadow the Hedgehog where would this game fit in? it suppose to be the marking of good o days SOnic the Hedgehog on the mega drive.
The subtitle is wrong, just like two others earlier in the video. Although the subtitle reads "I've finally found it", Silver actually says, "I've finally found him". The Iblis Trigger is definitely a male character of some sort. Check out the longer preview. [12] 86.143.156.110 20:45, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the cheap links. First the FMV graphics is just too good! But not as good as Spawn: Armageddon and DOA Ultimate:P. Anyway, Some part of the video looks edit:/ coming from YouTube. Anyway Silver still didn't say Iblis Trigger! It says I've finally found it..." I dunno where you got that he said "found him". You people are just to hype about this game, we don't know who the Iblis trigger is, so lets not just into speculations. IGN said it is Sonic, but they might be wrong. The same way they said about SOnic having a ninja walking move. The same applies for magazine, how some people got it confused with breakdancing moves. So lets just leave it as a Iblis Trigger. Some people dunno what a trigger is, trigger can't be a damn person!
Like I said, ignore the subtitle. Silver's line is no longer overlayed with the music in that version, so you can hear it more clearly. Play the video, close your eyes, and you will hear "I've finally found him."
As I pointed out, there are two other lines with incorrect subtitles earlier on in the trailer (both Eggman's).
- Spoken: "...the miracle gems that are the key to it's secret."
- Subtitled: "...the miracle gems that are the key to this secret."
- Spoken: "The Chaos Emerald!"
- Subtitle: "Ah, the Chaos Emerald!"
- Spoken: "I've finally found him, the Iblis Trigger."
- Subtitle: "I've finally found it, the Iblis Trigger."
Sonic Team suck at subtitles. 86.143.156.110 11:59, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
