editLists: Larry Knechtel – bass guitar
The citation is some book. But on this interview
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X58jzqrfD1U
in a section about why they didn't have a bass player, and various session bass players they had on albums, at 44:54 Robby Krieger says "On Back Door Man and Soul Kitchen was me overdubbing the bass."
I want to change it but wanted to put it here for discussion. I trust the word of a member of the Doors more than some rock critic writing about the Doors to get it right.
On the Wiki article for Back Door Man, Doors Version section, it does properly list Krieger as playing bass, and cites a book he wrote.

UPDATE: since no comments here I went ahead and added this citation today after the "BASS" reference for Robbie Krieger after "Guitar" ElizaBarrington (talk) 20:51, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
