does anyone else feel that the article should at least mention their pitchfork rating and the whole "pitchfork effect" nonesense? it certainly did stir up quite a bit of commotion amongst the indie scene when they got a 10. 07:29, 3 October 2006 (UTC) bing
- I think that is noteworthy, yes. --Kvaks 19:17, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- It certainly needs to be expanded and properly expounded upon (with sources, of course) to warrant its continued presence in the article however. As it stands, there are no details regarding this purported stirring that this caused (although, being from Pitchfork, I have no doubt that it did indeed ruffle more than a few feathers) and people like myself, who are still quite new to Trail of Dead are certainly going to be interested in as many details as can be procured. "controversy arose in the indie music community"
editI removed this unsourced piece of info: Some controversy arose in the indie music community when music web site Pitchfork Media gave the album a perfect 10.0 score in its review. [1].

genre
editCould we work on the genre section? I'm not sure what genre I'd necessarily put them in, but just having "hard rock" seems misleading. After all, the band sounds a lot more like Husker Du than the Faces. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.224.246.146 (talk) 07:59, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
