Courtesy ping to Mashfi23 about this. Would be good to get a consensus, rather than have the 3 of us changing/reverting each other, as we clearly have 3 different ideas on this. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:31, 19 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Joseph2302 Thanks for pinging me. I think Template:Single-innings cricket match has something on this (and if the Test match template doesn't have anything, better to follow the closest one). And when two players score the same amount of runs, they both are listed only when they have played the same amount of deliveries too- otherwise the one who played less deliveries and thus has a higher strike rate is the one listed. By the way, I personally would prefer writing the name of the bowler who has a lower economy in cases like this- but looks like the limited-overs template has the opposite mentioned. মাশ্ফী※Mashfi (t) 11:37, 19 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Joseph2302: I dont know where the "this is what we do part came from". As far as I have seen the score summaries in that way for a long time. At the template, inside the scorecard section, it is mentioned that Bowling team's top wicket-taker in the innings. (Tiebreaker: fewer runs conceded; then fewer overs bowled) Leave blank if no bowler took a wicket.Human (talk) 11:49, 19 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
