Talk:South Korean passport

This article regarding the Korean passport should not be deleted. Passports articles for other countries like Canadian passport and Japanese passport do exist. This article is indeed short however, we can expand it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kingj123 (talkcontribs) 21:29, 20 September 2007

So why have you created two of these articles, Republic of Korea passport and Republic of Korea Passport. And why do you claim that they exist when they are red links. AxG @ talk 21:31, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, Iwill repeat again "This article regarding the Korean passport should not be deleted. Passports articles for other countries like Canadian passport and Japanese passport do exist. This article is indeed short however, we can expand it." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kingj123 (talkcontribs) 22:39, 20 September 2007

Maybe this page should redirect to Passport#Koreas until someone writes a stub or article with more substantial content? --Muchness 22:45, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

What about Vietnamese passport? Kingj123 22:48, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

That just shows that you have copied the info from that article to this. AxG @ talk 22:55, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes. I think it is alright... If that is the problem, you can delete that section.

Kingj123 22:58, 20 September 2007 (UTC) I hope as this article developes, we can change them in to our own words.Reply

Republic of Korea passportSouth Korean passport – The page title is inconsistent with other passport titles, especially with the North Korean passport page. This has been on the talk page before, but has never been discussed. A user has previously moved it to South Korean passport, but the name was reverted back to "Republic of Korea passport" by another user, who was found to be a sockpuppet of yet another user. As I see the name "South Korean passport" more consistent with the other passport names, including the North Korean passport, and that the move here was done by a sockpuppet rather than a legitimate user, I propose that this page be moved back to "South Korean passport" via WP:COMMONNAME. Support, especially as the country itself is at South Korea. BhamBoi (talk) 05:28, 2 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Support, per nom and per broad consensus that "South Korea", not "Republic of Korea", is the common name. :3 F4U (they/it) 03:03, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
