First municipality?
editThe claim about the first municipality in Victoria is also made on the Collingwood, Victoria page (by, um, myself actually - based on a now-dead link to a page from the Collingwood Historical Society), and this page doesn't give dates in 1955 to back up either claim. Any better references?
Also, should "In Ordine Primum" match the motto in the arms? Ben White 11:11, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- Speaking of the arms, as the arms of a defunct entity, are they really appropriate for the infobox, even if the former city is the same area as the area discussed by this article? JPD (talk) 18:17, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Found the reference - Collingwood is actually about a month older than South Melbourne, so I've reflected this in the article. Ben White 10:31, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
