The example of Timor
Like Timor, divided between Timor Leste (which is now independent) and West Timor (which is part of Indonesia), New Caledonia could be divided in the future if the North Province declares Independence. The South Province would continue as a French province while the North would be an independent state like Timor Leste.--79.146.210.48 (talk) 23:28, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
