The flag dispute.
editAccording to nearly every source I could find, the Left Triangle is Dark Blue, not Light Blue. Lukt64 (talk) 17:49, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
- The media authority recently confirmed that the official color on the flag of South Sudan is ( sRGB #75c8da). I'd suggest starting an RfC for more input, as the media file File:Flag of South Sudan.svg has experienced infighting as well. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 17:07, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

Note that there are many similar sRGB values quoted across the dispute, and my own computer renders slightly different hues. The samples provided above are based on Wikipedia and Commons description text, and are sorted by HSL/HSV hue within the sRGB space. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 17:59, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- the "current version" color is meant to be equidistant between the two colors you put it between, i still have received no reply back from my email to the south sudanese embassy so i feel like using a fairly equal mix of both colors might be best, but i am genuinely requesting any kind of input from anybody on this NorthTension (talk) 04:02, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- Not to mention the issue on if it has a rotated star or not. Emmanuelbruh (talk) 15:51, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Well I saw the darker version without a rotated star on a South Sudanese number plate. Dosomething781besomeone787 (talk) 16:47, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

Religion
editThe last time I checked South Sudan Christianity was around 60% and Traditional religions around 30% with the remainder Islam. How did it jump to 78% christian and down to 12% from 30% in Traditional religions? What is the source? RickyBlair668 (talk) 08:08, 29 July 2024 (UTC)

why is there a german map
editlook at the economy section, oil part, "Oil and gas concessions in Sudan - 2004"
why is the map in german is my main concern, shouldnt it be in the german wikipedia article for it or is there no english one? Theapplesguy2 (talk) 18:39, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- The map is used across 21 language Wikipedias, not just de.wiki and here. It is likely there is no English one, although the map is in public domain if anyone wants to make one. CMD (talk) 01:18, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
