Repeated Replacement of Chief Editors
editThere should be some mention in here of the cycling of editors that the Southern Weekly's experienced. I don't have any information on the topic and can't add the needed material myself, but it's well known in the PRC that the leading figures of this paper have been repeatedly replaced for covering news issues that are considered inappropriate. This considerably compromises its value as the most liberal newspaper in China, since the quality's dropped off in recent years. 202.119.55.8 (talk) 02:17, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
major overview source
editThis (video) piece from Al Jazeera's The Listening Post offers a clear overview of this important media group. Hope someone can review and abstract some of the key points. [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cossaxx (talk • contribs) 2018-09-26T06:00:00 (UTC)
