Upper case

I am thinkin that the first letter of the word "theater" within the wiki title "Southern theater of the American Revolutionary War" should be capitalized... Theater.4.129.69.126 17:04, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

I don't think so. Per WP:TITLE, only proper nouns in the title should be capitalized. The term "Southern Theater" when used to describe part of the Revolutionary War has not gained the stature of a proper noun—it's just a description. While it's true that it's not always clear what is and is not a proper noun with regard to military names, it seems to me that this falls in the "not" category. —Kevin 17:23, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Reference: There is a claim in the "Second Attack on Charleston" section that it was the biggest surrender of American troops until the Civil War. While this is probably true, I cannot find a refernce to support it. If anyone could, that would be appreciated! Rockfall 13:43, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Missing major actions

This article is missing the two major campaigns post Yorktown, Anthony Wayne's Savannah campaign and the campaign around Charlestown. After Yorktown, British forces in the south were concentrated into two pockets one in Savannah and one in Charlestown. American forces were dispatched after Yorktown to hem British forces into these pockets and there were several battles along the fronts of these pockets.XavierGreen (talk) 15:54, 7 August 2020 (UTC)

Wrong book?

Christopher Hibbert did not write a book called Rebels and Redcoats. perhaps the editor was confused by two other books with such a title. However, Since the author and subtitle are specified, I believe the intended book is: Hibbert, C: Redcoats and Rebels: The American Revolution Through British Eyes, London, 2001, I have changed it in the biography accordingly. However there are several references throughout the text Which must be changed to agree. Humphrey Tribble (talk) 13:05, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
