Talk:Southrons
Latest comment: 18 years ago by Jor in topic Why "Southrons" and not "Haradrim"?
I moved Corsairs of Umbar content to a dedicated page because they were independent of the Haradrim for most of their history. -- Alcarillo 19:13, 29 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Similarties to real races
editIn the article it states that the haradrim are similar to africans but aren't haradrim heavily arab influenced? Burning phoneix 22:03, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
A Google search for Haradrim brings up far more results than Southrons. Also, it seems that the term "Southrons" is used in non-Tolkien contexts. Uthanc 14:43, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- Back when I added this page I was simply following a red Southrons link. Either term would fit well, I have no objection to a move. Southrons fits better with Easterlings than Haradrim does to it, though. -- Jordi·✆ 12:44, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
