Hi. The Soviet Zone also included other regions of Eastern Europe which had been de facto annexed by the Nazis. This includes regions like Prussia for example, but see Nazi Germany for a definition of 'Germany proper' in the context of WWII and Nazi expansion. I think this should be explained in this article becasue the NKVD special camps in Germany 1945–49 interred prisoners from all over that zone apparently, as part of the thorough denazification process.
