Provisional
edit@Garuda28: I wonder if the article's title should be Space Training and Readiness Delta (Provisional) as its factsheet writes it that way: [1]. Like Air Force Cyber Command (Provisional)? --AFLBulawan (talk) 09:55, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
- I actually think we should probably drop the provisional, since Space Training and Readiness Delta appears to be the common name. I also haven’t been able to find the provisional in perentasese when not abbreviated. Garuda28 (talk) 14:31, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
How long is the wait?
editHow long before General Cothern is transferred over to head this unit, so he can become Jason of Star Command? 96.250.80.27 (talk) 22:53, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
- They missed the opportunity and picked someone else! 96.250.80.27 (talk) 16:56, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
Article needs merger/redirect
editThere should be one article telling of the Delta becoming the Command.96.250.80.27 (talk) 17:01, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
381 Training Group -> DEL 1; 6595 Aerospace Test Wing -> Del 12
editThese are redesignations of existing units, according to the fact sheets, so we will need to merge the existing articles which are the 381st Training Group and the 6595th Aerospace Test Wing, under the new names. Ping KingEdinburgh and Lineagegeek. Buckshot06 (talk) 16:50, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- "These are redesignations of existing units, according to the fact sheets" I didn't see a fact sheet referenced. --Lineagegeek (talk) 18:34, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- The new STARCOM fact sheets are the ones in the Delta 12 and now Delta 1 articles, at the very bottom, simply labelled 'Fact Sheet.' Buckshot06 (talk) 05:39, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, The material in the Delta 1 fact sheet contradicts the article. I don't regard Facebook as a reliable source. --Lineagegeek (talk) 20:45, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- I am NOT using Facebook. At the very bottom of the Space Delta 1 external links is this Fact Sheet, simply labelled 'Fact Sheet. That says that Space Delta 1 is a redesignation of the 381st Training Group. What information contradicts the article? Buckshot06 (talk) 06:31, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- The factsheet shows a period of inactivation between 31 May 2021 and around 23 August 2021 (date of ceremony, not date of activation). The Space Delta 12 is the one with a footnote to Facebook (and also one to a Wikipedia article). --Lineagegeek (talk) 21:26, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- Regarding Del 1, I was quite careful with the lineage, that should be correct. The text may not be, it wasn't my priority. Del 12 I have not started the amalgamation process.. Buckshot06 (talk) 06:15, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
