I added two sentences to i-agonal, regarding monagonal and i-rows. --Harvey Heinz 16:08, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
The suggestion to merge this with diagonal is a good one, if so best merge this under the title r-agonal, as this is the generic term for all these specific lines. "diagonal" is the best known of all though, "space diagonal" I hardly ever use.
Does this exist?
editHello, in calculus we learned that to find the space diagonal of a rectangular prism you can apply the following formula:
x, y, and z being the length width and height. Is this a real formula because our teacher couldn't remember the name of it? If so, what is it called? He said it might be Herod's Theorem. 216.179.3.1 (talk) 03:29, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Thats simply the Pythagorean Theorem, or a simply coralary, found by applying the Pythagorean Theorem twice. You find the diagonal of a face in terms of the edges with the first aplication and apply it again on the diagonal and the third edge. 64.74.212.1 (talk) 04:55, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
the quadragonal link is linked to the wrong article, it links to the article for quadrillateral, not quagagonal, of which such an article doesn't exsit--75.18.40.239 (talk) 02:35, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
