RE: The comment on 'Hot Fuzz' in the 'Future' section - has this movie actually been produced? I remember hearing that they were planning it, but I'd just assumed it was, at best, a work in progress or just a potential idea they were playing aroung with. --Joseph Q Publique 13:11, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Drugs

Hmmm... am I barking up the wrong tree with this drugs stuff? It seems to me that Spaced's treatment of drugs is something that sets it aside from the television comedy mainstream and is sufficiently notable to be in the article. Spaced Series 3

London based Wikipedians might like to know that there is a stencilled bit of grafitti under Southwark Bridge that reads 'Spaced Series 3'. There's no more information than that, and it might just be a rabid Spaced fan with a stencil and a spray can- but could it be the beginning of viral marketing campaign for a 2006 series? I think there probably will be another series at some point: Simon Pegg said he'd definetly like to continue the story as he already has the entirety of the characters lives in his head, or at least his and Jessica's collective heads. Quotations

The quotations listed are all very funny, but some of them (like "just a tenner!" and "is Jabba the princess?") only make sense in context. Some more self-contained ones would be better for an article aimed at people with no knowledge of the series. How about the "you're scared of spiders and mice..." exchange from the first episode? I'd add it myself, but I can't remember the exact wording and I'm not sure I trust IMDb's quotes page. :) --Nick R 15:02, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

Plagarisim

Much, if not most, of the content on this page seems taken directly (and verbatim) from the Spaced web site.

Re. the below thread, the dog's name is Ada. "Aida" was a typo on the credits. And as to "plagiarism", I think that it's a shame stuff has been taken verbatim from Spaced Out since I wrote most (read: all) of the stuff for that site when I owned it and set it up. It surprises me that no-one can come up with anything better than stuff I wrote when I was 17, since even now I am not a particularly great writer. My edits

Ok here's what I did: 1) I corrected the name and the page for Ada the Dog. Her name was never "Ada IV". Whoever made that page may have been confused by her imdb page which lists her as "Ada (IV)". This only means that there are three other actors named "Ada" on imdb and each one has a Roman numeral after their name only to distinguish between them. The dog's name is and always has been simply "Ada"... erm, or "Aida". 2) I added all the recurring characters (2 or more episodes) from the show because I believe they deserve mention. Especially in this series because they were all integral to the episodes in which they appeared. The descriptions I wrote are not particuarly good so maybe someone can help with that. I tried to avoid giving too much away; don't know if did a good job of that. 3) I removed the quotes section because there is already a link to the wikiquote collection so this is redundant. 4) I added a few bits of trivia most of which I got from Spaced Out. Factual Inaccuracy

"There are also frequent references to a happening involving Tim and Mike's childhood and a tree, but flashbacks never reveal exactly what it was that happened."

Incorrect: In one episode you discover that Tim once dared Mike to jump out of a tree (in fact, from the branch they're often shown sitting on in flashbacks). Mike landed badly and detached one or both of his retinas (or should that be retinae?), providing explanation for both his large glasses and the medical reason for his never being able to join the army.

Unfortunately I can't immediately remember exactly which episode this happens in, so I've hesitated to edit the page without a citation - someone else should feel free if they also remember this incident. 62.121.22.4 14:48, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Carleton Road in Tufnell Park

Some mention should be made that the Spaced house in Meteor Street is actually located in Carleton Road in Tufnell Park.

On Spaced-Out.org they get a bit precious about this information, "we know where the house is but we're not telling you", because the owners of the house might not like it. Except the cast members reveal the actual address on the DVD commentary... so all the "secrecy" is a bit futile.

Google Street View link

I've redone the address and deleted the link to the incorrect house. I don't know exactly how to insert a link to a street view google maps image so if someone else wants to go for it. I'm not so sure it's a brilliant idea to link to images of real peoples homes though..... Hynes v Stevenson

There's currently a mixture of use of Hynes and Stevenson for Jessica's surname. This is rather confusing, but I'm not sure the best way to tidy it up. Some reference to Stevenson should remain explicitly as that's her credit in the show, but perhaps it would be simplest for the very first reference to make the name-change explicit, and then use Hynes after that?
