Carbon fiber vs Carbon fibre
edit- In English 'fiber' is spelt 'fibre'
- In US English 'fibre' is spelt fiber'
- The original patent was British therefore the patent would refer to 'fibre' in UK, when the UK patent was registered in the USA it was probably registered as 'fiber'
- The Carbon fibre article re-directs to Carbon fiber
- Carbon fiber article recognises both spellings.
- Hence both spellings are correct, what looks strange to one reader will be natural to another.
- I would politely suggest that time spent re-editing/undoing from one to the may possibly be a teeny weeny bit fruitless.
