editWe need to fix a few words to be mor common in English:
- cultivated surface
- 22 projectiles
- etc
I think this was translated from the German. If we can just fix a few terms like this to be more standard English we can remove the cleanup tag. RJFJR (talk) 14:57, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Renamed to Sparkasse Hagen tower. Timrollpickering (talk) 00:01, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
Sparkasse Hagen → Sparkasse Hagen office tower – "Sparkasse Hagen" is the name of the bank, not of the building, which was called "Long Oskar" (de:Langer Oskar). This building was an office tower of the still existing de:Sparkasse Hagen (www.sparkasse-hagen.de), and only one of several buildings they own (or formerly owned). I assume the current title of the english article was chosen because of the pages which are linked as references. But these pages only use the "Sparkasse Hagen" heading as they do for many other buildings where there is no "given name" for a building, so they use the owners name.
The current situation with the "Sparkasse Hagen" article title is misleading. It is like writing about a special destroyed building of the Bank of England (not about the bank itself), but using "Bank of England" as the title. So I think the best title for the article is "Sparkasse Hagen office tower" or shorter "Sparkasse Hagen tower" if you don't want to use the german name "Langer Oskar". Relisted. - Oppose: In common English the additional words are redundant. also all the references refer to the building in "Sparkasse Hagan". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emerson7 (talk • contribs) 17:30, 24 May 2013
- note: the above user was the one who moved the page from "Long Oskar" to the current title (without stating any reason). Holger1959 (talk) 03:43, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
- Support Sparkasse Hagen tower. Might as well be WP:PRECISE, but I do think the current title fails WP:AT, in that it implies it describes a bank. This is one of those rare cases where a redirect should not be left after the move, per WP:REDLINK. It's actually fortunate that this article is an orphan at the moment. --BDD (talk) 23:57, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- note: thanks for the useful additional links to these rules. I will keep them in mind for future cases. I forgot to state that I don't really care which exact title you chose – Sparkasse Hagen tower/office tower/skyscaper, Long Oskar, Langer Oskar or whatever. The main thing is that the title isn't "Sparkasse Hagen", which is quite simply wrong (if the article is only about this one building, not about the bank itself). – The adjacent de:Stadthaus was also part of the Sparkasse headquarters and was also demolished, for what it's worth. - Support; the article is about a building but the current title says it's a bank. We need to fix that. bobrayner (talk) 21:55, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
