Requested move

This version of the article appears to have a legitimate source and, in general, seems to be more acceptable than the version deleted in last February. Thus, I propose that this article should be moved to Speak My Mind, which is currently a protected redirect to the article of Beyoncé Knowles. After all, the disambiguation in this article's title is redundant, and has most likely been introduced in order to by-pass the AfD decision. Waltham, The Duke of 16:25, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

This was redirected to Beyoncé Knowles per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Speak My Mind. The only difference between this version and the one before the redirect is that it has a source for the track list. There's not much that can be said about this mixtape. With notable albums, you have things like reviews, sales, and charts, but this can't expand from a track list. Is this an officially released mixtape? Spellcast (talk) 08:45, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

If it wasn't official would it have a billboard page? I'm not certain on this either but I'm sure Billboard doesn't put just any mixtape on it's website. Ratizi1 (talk) 03:18, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

I can honestly say that I had not thought about notability (the lack of sources was the main issue at the deletion discussion). Deleting the article on these grounds would, at least, solve the dilemma. Personally, I don't care that much (I hate R&B), but I want to see this awkward situation resolved. If you people do agree to try to have it deleted, I am not very certain that it is liable for speedy deletion; perhaps one could try Proposed Deletion first. Billboard copy all their discography info from All Music Guide. All this page will ever be is a track list. Notable bootlegs would at least have a few reviews and something more than just tracks. Spellcast (talk) 21:25, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Proposed merge

I prefer a keep but if the consensus comes that we should merge then I suggest putting the information into the box for Speak My Mind and mention the three songs that are new to it. RatiziAngelou^contribs 19:18, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

What is notable about the album? It doesn't meet WP:GNG, and per WP:NALBUMS: "In general, if the musician or ensemble is notable, and if the album in question has been mentioned in multiple reliable sources, then their officially released albums may have sufficient notability to have individual articles on Wikipedia... Album articles with little more than a track listing may be more appropriately merged into the artist's main article or discography article, space permitting." This article is little more than a track listing, and it includes only one source about the mixtape - an Allmusic track listing. • Oppose – Surprisingly quite notable, I expected nothing more than a track list. I see nothing wrong with having it here, it's well sourced, and a purpose for merge doesn't make much sense to me.   • Comment - Check those sources. The current refs list in the article has 12 "sources":
    • Nine of them (#1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11) Do not mention this album.
    • #4 is a track list at Allmusic.
    • #10 is a documentary on the making of a film, used to cite that one of the songs was used in that movie. (I don't know if it mentions this album, but, I'd be surprised.)
    • #12 is a second track list at Allmusic, this time with bonus tracks.
