(London) - No rule about the Royal family ?
editThe article doesn't mention anything about, what I was under the impression of, - that criticism about the Royal Family (incl. its members) was strictly prohibited. People I asked (as late as mid-March 2017) told me the same, any subject allowed but the Royalties. Am I, and those I asked, wrong ? Boeing720 (talk) 03:19, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
Also
editI think Speecher's Corner close to Marble Arch is internationally famous. Far more than the other here mentioned locations. Hence do I make the (minor) proposal to split this article into one about Speaker's Corner, London solely (as a famous location and what goes on there) and an other one about the other mentioned places. Boeing720 (talk) 03:25, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
I agree with Boeing720. To add: the section about Canada and Regina goes completely off-piste by discussing lamp posts in London, UK! Surely the text relating to London should be cut/pasted into the relevant section? anon poster

editIt's been a while, I but I seem to recall there being a free-speech platform (much like the Auckland, NZ, one pictured in the article) on the main campus of UW-Madison. I wasn't able to turn up any info about it with a quick web search, but I thought somebody else might know enough about it to add it to the list of speakers corners contained in the article. gavindow (talk) 16:36, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
