The result of the move request was: page moved to Spectre (fictional town). – wbm1058 (talk) 16:29, 27 April 2020 (UTC)
Town of Spectre → Spectre (town) – The place is not called "Town of Spectre", but simply "Spectre".[1][2][3][4][5] Not sure if Spectre (fictional town) or Spectre, Alabama might be more suitable disambiguators however. 212.135.65.247 (talk) 11:14, 9 March 2020 (UTC) —Relisting. - Comment. All 5 of the sites linked in the nom do in fact use the phrase "town of Spectre". Station1 (talk) 09:22, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, but as a descriptor only, not as part of the name. Like you would say "the town of Cleethorpes", etc, etc... 212.135.65.247 (talk) 10:27, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose but support "Spectre, Alabama". It's not actually clear if it is a town as the article refers to it being a "movie set" and a "fake town". jamacfarlane (talk) 03:33, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
- Move to Spectre (fictional town) per AL.com and Atlas Obscura – and to avoid implying it's a real town (including by using the typical "city, state" nomenclature for towns). —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 09:06, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- I've had a look at how other fictional towns are DAB and propose Spectre (Big Fish). See Springfield (The Simpsons), Riverdale (Archie Comics), etc. jamacfarlane (talk) 09:42, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Support Spectre (Big Fish), standard naming convention. Spectre (fictional town) and Spectre, Alabama, should redirect as well. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 09:49, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Comment: The difference between this topic and, say, Springfield (The Simpsons) is that it's not a real town, but still exists as a real place outside the fictional work. It's a unique situation that I don't think is covered by any specific naming convention. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 17:21, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Support either Spectre (fictional town) or Spectre (Big Fish). Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 19:13, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Given a choice between those two, Spectre (fictional town) seems more natural and recognizable, especially since the place has seen use (as a tourist attraction) beyond the film production. Spectre (Big Fish) would seem to imply that it only exists as part of the movie. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 20:07, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Move to Jackson Lake Island - the article as presented has a real world focus - it describes the abandoned movie set located on Jackson Lake Island. Both (fictional town) and (Big Fish) disambiguators would only really be appropriate if the article was written from the fictional perspective. Jackson Lake Island seems to be notable in its own right, and this movie set is one contributing factor to that. "Spectre" to refer to this locale is not a legal place name, so we shouldn't be following WP:USPLACE-style "Spectre, Alabama" either. -- Netoholic @ 20:36, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: page moved. (non-admin closure) ~SS49~ {talk} 02:21, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
Spectre (fictional town) → Jackson Lake Island – The article focuses mainly on the description of the real-world location housing a film set, with only one section (really just two sentences) covering the "fictional town" of the film. Because of this, it reads odd that the word "fictional" is used in the article name. The current title is limiting, as there is not much more than can be said about the fictional town, but renaming would allow expansion to include a lot of information about the real-world recreation destination. Jackson Lake Island seems to be notable in its own right, and this film set is one contributing factor to that.[6][7][8][9] -- Netoholic @ 10:05, 29 May 2020 (UTC) —Relisting.
