Is Speedball Abandonware?
editAre any of the Speedball games abandonware yet? If not, anyone know where I can buy them? Cheers. Doom jester 14:45, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
- As the article says, the first Speedball is available in the C64 Direct-to-TV. Cpc464 13:22, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
This is the Virgin or the Mirrorsoft version of the game? -- —Preceding unsigned comment added by Metal dragon (talk • contribs) 01:00, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- Virgin published Speedball on the SMS and Speedball 2 on the GB and SMS. Mirrorsoft published Speedball 2 on the Mega Drive. See http://www.mobygames.com/search/quick/p,-1/q,speedball/showOnly,9/ Cpc464 13:22, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Possible edits
editI can do a huge amount on this as I am currently developing a fansite based on Speedball 2. I do however have little experience editing Wikipedia so would perhaps like a teammate to assist with formatting etc. If anyone is interested please put a note on my talk page Edicius81 16:58, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Speedball 2 in-game.png
editImage:Speedball 2 in-game.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Evolution is now on PSN
editSpeedball 2: Evolution is now available on the Playstation Store as a "mini". It even comes replete with authentic Amiga floppy disk drive sounds, which I assume was in the iOS version. The only difference between it and the PSN version is the latter seems to have been formatted for larger resolutions. predcon (talk) 11:07, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
Split up article
editI would like to make a separate article for Speedball 2, since it is a relatively different game than Speedball. The current article is a bit of a mess for trying to stuff two different games into one article. Thue (talk) 12:30, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- There were no objections, so I have done so. Thue (talk) 20:38, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
