Talk:Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace

editWell.....um. Interesting article, but it might be interesting to have the sources this quoted material was cited from - was these snippets taken from a magazine article? A e-mail conversation?
Further, having played the game, as well as read the article body itself, I can state with certainty that the Infobox is erroneous for "Engine" - it is NOT using the Gold Box RPG engine. The sprites, menus, fonts, indeed EVERYTHING is different. Since the article details the development of this game (something not often found in reviews/wiki articles about games), it quickly becomes apparent that the game was designed uniquely from scratch, and not based on any existing code. I would remove or correct this, but I am not confident about my meager understanding of wiki-code for such things! *bashful grin*
I'll be putting some grammatical corrections in following this post, and would hope that it piques some interest from other, more experienced editors that can help improve this interesting, but flagging, article. Empath 20:35, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
-- Yes, the engine was custom written, from scratch for the game. I see it is "inhouse" now which is accurate enough. Alex Russell, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.156.80.76 (talk) 17:59, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
