Pseudounipolar neurons

This is probably only a matter of semantics, but I believe that neurons in the Dorsal Root Ganglion are considered to be "Pseudounipolar" neurons not "Unipolar" neurons.

Anterolateral system

In the past 3 years, the Lateral and Anterior Spinothalamic tracts have merged to become the Anterolateral Spinothalamic Tract (ALS). This page should be updated to reflect this (Waysensei (talk) 18:55, 11 October 2008 (UTC)).

Location of cell bodies

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that the cell bodies of the STT are located in the substantia gelatinosa and the nucleus proprius? Location of First Synapse

This article, as well as the one on the substantia gelatinosa, states that the first synapse of the spinothalamic tract occurs in the ipsilateral substantia gelatinosa (lamina II), and I have seen this elsewhere. However, Blumenfeld in Neuroanatomy through Clinical Cases (2nd edition, p. 280) says this synapse occurs in the marginal zone (lamina I) or lamina V, with no mention of lamina II. Proposed merge with Anterior spinothalamic tract

Third-ed. Both the lateral spinothalamic and anterior spinothalamic tracts are subsets of the anterolateral spinothalamic pathway and should be included in one article together.
