- Is it reasonably well written?
- A. Prose quality:
- B. MoS compliance:
The first four references (the reviews) do not follow MOS:DATE for the access dates in that they are in an inconsistent format with the dates in remainder of the list, all of the dates should be in the same format. Another thing with the first four references unrelated to MOS is that they all appear twice in the reference list, WP:NAMEDREFS should be more fully utilized to prevent redundancy. The formatting on the Worley reference should also be looked at, in the reflist the whole URL is displayed rather than just the title. This is just a suggestion but you may want to consider using templates for the references. See WP:REFTOOLS, you can add a gadget to your editing toolbar that should make life much easier. Also, the inline citations should come after the punctuation (i.e. fact.1 not fact1.). There are four Wikilinks that lead to disambiguation pages with links, 4-track, 8-track, Brendan O'Brien, and WWF. These links should be changed so that they go to an appropriate article.Done
- A. Prose quality:
- Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
- A. References to sources:
For at least two of the references the (both from canoe.ca) the writers name is not a part of the reference citation.Done
- B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
The first reference within the text cites amazon.com, this isn't a reliable source. The second paragraph of the 'Album history' section is unsourced. The last paragraph of the 'Recording history' section needs a trailing reference. There are other paragraphs that are also missing trailing references or references altogether; specifically, the first paragraph of 'packaging and design', the first paragraph of 'release and reception', the last sentence of 'singles', the last sentences of both paragraphs in 'tour', and the whole 'studio outtakes' section.
- A. References to sources:
The following statements still need references:- Coutts would also miss several shows in June after breaking his wrist in a biking accident.
- As was common practice, the album was released several months later in The United States on March 13, 2001. The album was released to Asian and European markets on May 9, 2001 under the Epic Records label.
- The album's lack of commercial success has been attributed to the experimental use of spoken excerpts from Kurzweil's book being included on the album. Done
- Is it broad in its coverage?
- A. Major aspects:
The album and the single "Life" both charted, that should be included in the article.Done
- B. Focused:
- A. Major aspects:
- Is it neutral?
- Fair representation without bias:
- Fair representation without bias:
- Is it stable?
- No edit wars, etc:
- No edit wars, etc:
- Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
- A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
- B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
There is one images that doesn't meet the 'contextual significance' criterion of WP:NONFREE. The screen-capture with the caption 'Raine singing "Life" at Music Without Borders' does not increase the readers understanding of the topic and should be removed. On a similar note there is a link to the YouTube video of "Sleeping In", this is a violation of WP:ELNEVER, it constitutes a contributory copyright violation and also needs to be removed.Done

So far looking good. It may look like there are a lot of 's but for the most part they should be easy to fix. I haven't been able to access all of the references yet. For a few of them I get a "Down for Scheduled Maintenance" message, so I'll check back later on. I also want to reread everything after stepping back for a while, feel free to address the issues mentioned above in the mean time. With some small changes this article should have no trouble passing. J04n(talk page) 12:03, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- Fixed all the disambigs and the stray references. As for the first reference, would the book's publishing company page be a notable substitute? check the link here. Thanks Publichall (talk) 22:03, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- As for the first reference, any of the references that are already there that establish that the album is inspired by the book are fine. You don't need to show that the book exists, only that the connection between the two is there. The references that were down are now back up so I'll look at them, then I want to look everything over closely again and will report back in about 24 hours. - OK, I've read and re-read, see the comments above, need to source a bit more, the album charted in the Billboard 200 (needs to be added), and the screen shot should go. Other than that it looks great. I'm going to have to check this album out now; I'm excited to listen to it! J04n(talk page) 03:30, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Ha! Thank you very much and I'm glad to hear your interested. I have added at huge amount of extra sources, am in the process of removing the image, trying to fiddle with the charts template and will try to find more about the outtakes. Should be done by Tuesday Night. Cheers Publichall (talk) 06:25, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Three more things need to be sourced, looking good though. Please drop me a line on my talk page when it's ready. Thanks J04n(talk page) 00:47, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- I am very happy to pass this article, nice work J04n(talk page) 03:25, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
