Cleanup
editI just created this article by merging in the information in two other articles. It needs to be reworded to combine the material better and to improve the content. If anyone wants to jump in, feel free to do so. Vegaswikian 02:10, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Cleaned up the article a bit and added/updated references. I also took off the reference improvement tag, because nine new citations were added to major articles, if anyone has a problem with this feel free to state them below. Rik (talk) 00:56, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Additions
editShould we start a new section for the Las Vegas Marathon and the "new" Las Vegas Gran Prix? Rik 05:12, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- If you want to add it you can, be bold. Vegaswikian 07:33, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- VW do you have any info about the new version of the Gran Prix? All I have heard is that there is going to be a new race within the next few years. Rik 20:56, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- Don't believe that the controlling body has approved the gran prix yet. I think it is suppose to be run for 5 years. If approved, the 2007 race would be the first race of the season. BTW, I'm not the sports expert. I generally don't watch most sports events. Vegaswikian 22:16, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

I'm new to this, but when referring to professional sports/events in Las Vegas, noticed no reference to the Tennis Channel Open, and professional men's ATP tour event (and Women's Challenger Event). Upcoming dates are in 2/25 - 3/4, 2007.
