My research shows it is proper to put the apostrophe in the name of the island (even though many map sources omit it). However, the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources website is inconsistent in the proper name for the state park. The main page for the park omits it (St. Clements Island), other pages have it (St. Clement's Island). Given the confusion, I decided to spell the state park name identically with the island's name. — Eoghanachttalk19:17, 4 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
