Map
editThe map of the St. Joseph Peninsula was removed from the article with the claim that it was inaccurate because the peninsula also includes Cape San Blas. The USGS Coastal Classification Atlas divides the barrier spit into four sections: Cape San Blas, closest to the mainland; St. Joseph Peninsula, the southern third of the spit extending north from Cape San Blas; and St. Joseph Point SE and NE, extending further north from the St. Joseph Peninsula. If anyone is aware of a map from a reliable source that explicitely includes Cape San Blas in St. Joseph Peninsula (not just in the state park, which does not necessarily conform to geographical definitions), please link to it.
