What's left
edit- A major component left out is the Basilians, who are mention at St. Mary's web site. Apparently they had an administrative role, which is unclear. In general, I'm not 100% clear on amdinstrative details here. Since, I couldn't find outside sources, I left this out. But, it may be something that could be expanded on.
- Despite finding lots of information, I can't find (surprisingly) current enrollment. I would so this article is pretty full in terms of history (probably to full), but is seriously lacking in terms of describing the current school. In a way that's good, since it won't get quickly out-dated, but still more should be said about what's going on today.

Added: Admittedly this article is a little dense with facts, but by and large what's here is signficant, but its signficance isn't always explained. Also, there's good room for expansion of information, such as notable alumni. One problem with researching this school seems to be it has such a common name, it pulls up a lot of irrelevant stuff. --Rob 20:06, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

St. Mary's High School (Calgary) → St. Mary's Senior High School — St. Mary's Senior High School is the actual school's name as it can be seen here: and on their official website —Do you know me?...then SHUT UP!!! Sarcasm is beauty 22:10, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

- Move to St. Mary's Senior High School (Calgary) since there is another in Australia.
- Stay at St. Mary's High School (Calgary). Notice the official site actually omitts "Senior" when written as text at the bottom (although the logo at top has "Senior" in it). The fact "Senior" is visible in the sign, is not relevant, as that's OR (even though one is my picture). The most common reference in print is simply "St. Mary's" (usually the context makes clear it's the school, not Cathedral). The next most common is "St. Mary's High School". Generally in Calgary, when referencing senior high schools, the word "Senior" is omitted for whatever reason (but "Junior", if it's in a name, is kept). Also, in Calgary's Catholic system (see [1]) it seems the tendancy is to have the basic name of school, with no qualifier[2]. If we were to move the article (which I oppose) "St. Mary's (Calgary school)" would actually be better since the article is about about older incarnations of the school, and "St. Mary's" (unqualified) is how its typically referred to (historically and now). --Rob (talk) 23:50, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- Interesting that all of the web pages use senior in the heading of the page and the mailing address omitted it. Vegaswikian (talk) 07:10, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
