Walls of the tower "5 metres (16 ft) thick" is a statement patently impossible, as the base of the tower is scarcely 30 feet to a side. "Five feet thick" has doubtless become "5 metres". --Wetman (talk) 23:37, 8 August 2010 (UTC).Reply

Looks like you're right. I do not have any other sources for this so have changed it to "massive", a word used in the source.--Peter I. Vardy (talk) 09:37, 9 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
