Talk:St James' Church, Louth

Dedication

edit

To which James is the church dedicated? The date would suggest James, son of Zebedee, since he was the focus of the Santiago pilgrimage and the eponym of the Court of St James etc. in the high middle ages. However, I could not get confirmation of this on a visit. If we knew, we could disambiguate the link.Sjwells53 (talk) 12:39, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Someone has now done that. Hope it's true! Sjwells53 (talk) 17:09, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Addition of an apostrophe in the page name

edit

An apostrophe should be added to "James" in the page name. See the church's Web site (http://teamparishoflouth.org.uk/louth-churches/st-james-church/) and the first sentence of the article. SpencerM (talk) 18:48, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Just logical of you - done it. Removed fs after "St" as it's common format on WP. Acabashi (talk) 19:33, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
