- It derives from the cult of St Katherine of Alexandria. The 'a' version is commonly used - so, can probably be considered an alternate - but Museum of London, Soc of Geneologists, all use 'e' version. HTH Kbthompson (talk) 12:26, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
