Uploading image issues
editSnowmanradio is quite right in assuming that Tomtom08 didn't know how to upload a picture! He had taken it that any pics in wiki were automatically available to 'pinch' for internal re-use, but is quite happy to be told this isn't the case. He has many abilities, but he's no expert on computers. The online explanation on how to upload only confused him. How would one go about uploading a picture from, say, a digital camera image stored on a hard-drive? Oh, and top marks for the list of incumbents. Tomtom08 12:42, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- You can use images that are on the wiki, but it only wastes space to download it and upload it again, when a link can be made directly to the image that is already there. My copyright included a statement that my image should not be used for profit and this was not carried forward to the new image. I am requested that your copy be deleted because you only copied a low resolution format, and that you did not copy over the correct copyright (which I regard as important). Clearly the wiki does not need two images, and it is wiki policy to delete redundant pictures. Snowman 13:45, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- The correct image of the Church is on this page. No alterations need to be done to this image on this page.Snowman 14:18, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
