I tend to think that some of the content of this article either cannot be accurate, or it cannot be from the only cited reference:The Book of Sydney Suburbs, Compiled by Frances Pollen, Angus & Robertson Publishers, 1990 If that is the only reference cited then - what are the Olympic rings doing here? Does it really discuss Sydney Park, which I think would still have pretty much looked like a fairly recently covered over pile of rubbish? Was the bus service every 15 minutes back in 1990 - and if it was "how current is that information"?
Having said all that, I suggest a comparison with Peter Jeremy's suburb "template", which includes references already built in. This would help incorporate recent ABS information (OK, so 2001 is still the most recent available census...), recent housing prices, electoral results etc. Garrie 22:34, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- yeah the Olympic rings thing? is it really representative of the suburb? especially since the suburb had no role in the Olympics. Michellecrisp 00:51, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Re Deletion of mention of Sydney Park from this article
editSydney Park shows in some maps and the article on the park as being in St Peters while others such as Google Maps show it as being in Alexandria. If it is definitely in Alexandria, the Sydney Park article should also be changed. The reference in the park article [1] mentions in the heading that it is a St Peters article while at the bottom it mentions Alexandria. In a Google search I have also found it with address 416 Sydney Park Rd, Alexandria NSW 2015. So Alexandria appears to be the answer but I am not sure. - See this link for the boundaries of St Peters as shown on NSW Government's SIX system. This is the authoritative source when it comes to suburb boundaries. The part of the suburb that lies within the City of Sydney is the section in the southeast of the suburb (cf City of Sydney boundaries). Sydney Park is not within the suburb of St Peters.
- I'm not sure why the City of Sydney sometimes refers to St Peters in the context of Sydney Park. It may be because it's close to St Peters train station, or it's close to the residential part of St Peters. Either way, the park itself is not in St Peters the suburb. --49.255.223.3 (talk) 05:06, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
